@@millieroman2017 I used L'oreal Colorista. It isn't advertised as a gel and I didn't use it for hold. I wore my hair up that day so I'm not sure if it transfers
My fav Sisters. 4 months have passed since I decided to start taking care of my curly hair, my older sister recommended me to you with the video of Amanda cutting her hair. From there we both decided to start our hair journey, she never straightened her hair but did not know how to style it while I went through thousands of straightening treatments until the last 1 year ago. In our country there is no culture of curly hair care (Ecuador, which is ironic, because being a Latin American country almost the majority of the population is curly), they tell you to straighten it because that is how you look good and formal and fancy, finding ManesByMell helped us a lot in our confidence. Oh wow, I thought most Ecuadorians, and a couple of other South Americans had straight hair, or maybe a little bit wavy. Some family friends of ours are Chilian (the wife), and Ecuadorian (the husband), and they, along with their sons, have straight hair. I love traveling and learning about other cultures, but have yet to make it to South America. Learn something new everyday.

It is very common to hear promotions and discounts for some straighten treatments and that your first treatment is like at 14 years old. A half of My classroom when I was 14 got their first "Keratin treatment to have straight hair", I did it at 15 as "Quinceañeras gift".

Everything that's old is new again. This reminds of my early 80's paul mitchell color mousses. This was how I dyed my hair in my 20's. Tons and tons of burgundy mousse! This stuff may be made differently but it's awesome to get non damaging color and styling product in one. I look forward to trying it.

I have watched several people use this product recently and have always doubted how well it will would look on my darker hair. While everyone I have seen had highlights or a full head of lighter hair. But after watching y’all use it and especially seeing the results on Amanda’s darker hair sure makes me not as indecisive about wanting to try some. Either way love the video and love the channel. Y’all need to try Shiny Leaf Castor Oil set. The castor oil shampoo is amazing. I found myself detangling using my fingers while shampooing yet the shampoo rinsed clean away and left my hair clean. Not overly moisturized whatsoever

I saw someone else's video where they were trying the turquoise. Towards the end, she mixed the turquoise with the ruby and made some pieces purple. Hope that helps.
could you do a video about looking after curly hair when you have to use medicated shampoo for scalp dermatitis? I have made some things work for me but it is a big guessing game.
When using shampoo for the scalp, be sure to treat your ends based on how they feel. Consider how much you are shampooing as well, if it is often you will very likely need deep conditioning protein treatments often. They use synthetic mica for this reason, so it’s made in the lab and not mined and it is more ethical!

I saw someone else's video where they were trying the turquoise. Towards the end, she mixed the turquoise with the ruby and made some pieces purple. Hope that helps.

Do you think you would ever do virtual hair consultations? I struggle with my curly hair because I have experienced a lot of hair loss and whenever I try any products I struggle to achieve volume and avoid my hair looking oily the day after wash day 😭💔
