Such beautiful football. Its seems like the 11 players have one mind, each knows what the other is thinking and where the other is positioned. Also such effortless passing. Just too good to be true. Xavi's current players are great but they lack such seamlessness.
What impresses me most about this team and its rendition of tiki taka compared to later iterations is just how aggressive and decisive they are in moving the ball. Later Barcelona teams often when stagnant while passing the ball and needlessly got themselves into danger because the defense was able to collapse on them. This team had a very good balance of safe and aggressive play and it made them deadly at their peak.
i watch this from time to time to remind myself how beautiful top quality football is played. Alves and Abidal almost owned Ronaldo and DeMaria, treated them like Kids. At that point Pique was the weakest link in the defense.
