As an oil painter, I actually learned to give myself (and others) makeup by applying methods I use for painting portraits, even the way I hold brushes and pens for makeup resemble me painting on a canvas, that's why I drew aegyosal from shadow to concealer because I was just too used to using "dark to light" method 😭 That's how I apply eye shadow too! That's why it's interesting to learn that people use a transition color first, go darker, before adding the highlights/glitters. So interesting!!!
For make up that doesn't work because eyeshadows are not as pigmented as paint
omg sis same. i do digital art so i was like isn't this the same principle as applying highlights after you've applied all the shadows and base and not before hahaha

@@bxbythinkpositive center is like some sort of excuse to favouritise one member over another. trust me if starship didnt favouritise wonyoung and yujin all the time liz might even be the most biased in ive (as seen in le sserafim, hybe doesnt favouritise any members and yunjin is most biased)
Cause then the group will look like 6 wonyoungs :) they all have different styles and face shapes so one look isn't going to look good on all of them

@@angelxxii That's kind of a weird comment, first of all, beauty is all about perpective and in my perpective she looks amazing, both before and after the surgery, second of all, you shouldn't just say "oh she was ugly before the surgery" or "she's not a natural beauty anyway" that just makes you sound really rude and your comment might actually be heartbreaking for that person. You should consider their feelings before saying those things. And last of all, the surgery was just her getting double eyelids, "fixing" the slight curve on her nose and stuff. So it didn't really change how she actually looks, if i hadn't watched the surgery video, i wouldn't be able to notice that she had a surgery!

I've never seen the going back and forth with the chopstick and lighter!! What does it do? Ive seen them do it like just once to heat and curl the lashes all at once, but not this back and forth and like pointing technique??
If I remember right from an entirely different tutorial I've seen it's either to curl the lashes or to darken them, perhaps both. It's something like that. I know if you burn your eyeliner it gets darker so that would be my guess.
