What you have is a 8N - radius arms, only the clutch petal on the left side, rear rims, hood, access holes in the lower portion of the doglegs, all are features of a 8N. Some of these features were on the 2N as well, but the hood and rear rims are from a 8N. And if it has the 4 speed transmission and not the 3 speed, it's definitely a 8N.

Thanks for the info. I took the serial numbers and checked them against the website that give you the corresponding info. The motor is from a 1940 9N and the transmission is from a 1952 8N. The tractor was built from a few different machines and I have been adding things (new steering wheel, dash with tachometer opening, governor with tach cable port, ect) over the years as well. A few things where stamped 2N (like the radiator). I think the ability to interchange the parts on these machines is what keeps them being a functioning farm tractor 80+ years later. Thanks for watching!

Sigh... I am about to do this myself... Just got done rewiring everything and replacing gosh darn everything else, only for it to not start. And after hours of troubleshooting found my ring gear was just spinning 😭😭😭

@@FIXYFIXYCHANNEL I would like to just flat out buy a new flywheel but I can't seem to find one? I see used and then new ring gears...? I'm just concerned about it spinning that if I bought another ring gear it would do the same thing

I would recommend getting the old one out and seeing if the ring gear has a split in it. That would allow the the gear to spin and would be very hard to see.
