He didn't try the double bowl method with pouring hot water over it with a lemon juice mixture. Others have shown the wax to visibly collect at the bottom of the bowl.
It's true! People have told me "oh, I just wash the apple and it removes the wax" WRONG! Wax is not water soluble! Soap doesn't really work either. The boiling method will work if you just boil it longer, more like 20 seconds- obviously might cook the apple slightly. But this is still a useful problem to solve because if you're making a candied apple, for example, you need to remove the wax for the candy coating to stick!
The wax on apples is edible, worry alot more about the pesticides on them,or if they have been grown in soil fertilized with human waste which concentrates the heavy metals in the fruit.
@@timohara7717 Not at all. I said that candles are edible. I didn’t say eat the whole candle. The issue is that wax is not good for you. If it was good for you it would be found naturally.

Fruits have their own natural wax on them which is not harmful for human health. As far as Indian Apple growers are concerned, their is no artificial wax on Apples. You can find Artificial wax on foreign fruits only. Better is to consume indian local Apples.
@@drippyboyfreshpharaoh6568 There are different types of wax used. Some expensive organic brand might use real bee wax without anything added (supposedly has antiseptic qualities), but most mass produced fruits are coated with either plant based wax or petroleum-based wax with small amounts of fungicide to provide the anti mould effect
Correct, that is the original one that the apple produced, which isn’t the same by the time you get it from the grocery store which is commercial produce wax 🤢🤮 and if you seen it you wouldn’t be saying it’s natural and edible.
Because the skin is the most nutritionally dense part of the fruit. It's an option to peel, but also unnecessary waste of an important part of the produce you purchase and should be able to consume without worry of what else you could be eating. That's why people care about the removal of the wax and prefer not having to peel it.

You're being lazy if you steep your fruits and vegetables to get the pesticides off of them in a vinegar baking soda solution, then follow up by steeping them in boiling water steeped at least for 20 seconds it comes completely off and wipes off extremely easily.
Ya but greediness kills the people. They use chemical wax instead of bee or candle wax to make it more shiny, and it acts like slow poison, so we have to remove them.

The definition of “Trial and error”😂😂😂
"Grow your own apples, and don't trust stores"

keep eating fruits with wax and pesticides on it
Apples grow their own layer of wax
@@skifuneral_8183 yeah do you think we can become pestiside resistant🤣🤣🤣, it needs several generations man!!!
Yes, because most people have the capability to grow apples 😒
i dont grow mah apples i just go to stores every day 🙄💅

The wax applied to apples does contain pesticides, or more precisely fungicides, to prevent moulds and other things.
Candles are edible. Doesn’t mean they are good for you.
Yep, most of the time it’s beeswax so it’s actually perfectly safe
@@pentachronicthat's many more wax than in the apple like drinking cyanide

You can just use the knife method
I do
Most people would call you a crazy conspiracy theorist if you said that apples have wax on them.
Instead of Apples now I will be eating Onions. No More Apples
That was a great lesson ahch. I'm going to watch this again. A lot of gold bars in this one.
"Simple but works" 😳👍
a cup of water tea spoon of baking soda and a cap full of organic ACV Bring mixture to a boil and plunge fruit/vegetable for 12-15 sec then let soak in room temp water
Yeah literally bro, i just end up peeling my apples then soak em and was em again, too risky eating the peel in my opinion🤷♂️
How?
Why did I even watch this video ?
No one knows and neither do you!!!
Maybe to show you those methods don't work? Wtf
Method 4 - try all previous methods consecutively.

No I have tried it on local apples this is true
Sidha apple ka chilka hi nikal de😅😅😂
Apple ka chilka me fibre hote h
Is wax pesticide?
No but they use it to stop bugs from making it rot
Wax itsef is not a pesticide, but there are pesticides added, or more accurately fungicides to prevent mould.
No
@@JC-XL so every fruit with wax applied also comes with fungicides?

We should not exactly boil them
Great idea ❤
Just pil the upper layer and do eat it
Are you sure it's wax and not just the skin you are scrapping off?
Remove upper layer of Apple
Instead of doing this things one should eat without peel .. problem solved 😊
I know a method just peel it
The wax is natural it's the plant that creates it
💯 percent true
peel it and have it
Remove the wax with knife
Just peel the skin off!
Guys just take the skin off
Peel the apple skin and I will put
It in my thing for my plants to grow
Remove outer layer and eat
Why not just peel it🤦
The skin of apple are a great source of fiber, but oats and some grains are great. Oat meal with apple

Simply peal the apple

Debunking?
It is natural wax on Apples. No outer interference of humans. It is not harmful.
My apples at home don't have wax??? Hmmmm...
After picking the apples on the farms, they clean the apples which removes the natural wax so they put a toxic layer of wax to preserve it
@@jessicadaigle9358 it's right, just remember some humans are greedy
Natural wax looks like white powder, you never picked an apple clearly.
Just peel it off
Bro apples have wax on them natrully
The natural wax looks like white powder. If the apple doesn't have white powder on it, like when you go apple picking, it's chemically waxed
Eat wax it helps your body to store nutrients for long time🤣
Dont eat Apples
Just remove the outer coveringg 😂
Peel it and eat it

Just eat the damn apple like you've done your whole life!!
Don’t eat apple
Cow urine me duboke rakho 😂
Yeah, however the wax is edible
Just keep scraping it with yours knife smh
The wax dosent even do anything. 😑
I peel them
Bad idea, better removing the wax than peeling off the roughage.
Why can all shorts be like this. 😅
Remove the peel. Done

Bee's wax is very expensive, no one uses bee's wax but the top certified organic apples and they'll make sure to let you know it's bio
@Abdul Kaif noo freaking way u said candle wax, thats like comparing veg oil to petrol, Danny people r dumb 🫤🫤
Or or maybe you can just eat it
