Someone said Universal bought Aerosmith’s catalog that is the reason for the change. I am excited for the Muppets on the coaster. Aerosmith look so young in all those videos. That was my favorite ride at Hollywood. Glad you got to meet up with Adam for this.
Rode the Rock N Roller Coaster back in the day when it was brand new. Had to be '99 or so. It was a slow day so my friends and I probably rode 9-10 times. I was tired of the music before I was tired of the coaster. That launch is something else.
I remembered when I went on Rock N Rollercoaster and Muppetvision 3D back in the early '00s. Hope they have a safe place up in the sky. Let's hope that Monster Inc. would make an affordable addition to Disney World Jacob.

I think there is a lot of possibilities for moving the Muppets. Would be fun to have the coaster not be a dark ride as well. The only potential problem may be the height limit for the ride preventing small kids from enjoying the new theme

The height requirement for RnRcoaster is 48 inches, most kids aren't that tall until they are 7 or 8 years old, plus that's a fairly intense coaster that not everyone can or wants to ride. With Muppets 3D, all kids and all abilities could enjoy them. Disney needs to sell the Muppets; they have made such a mess of this beautiful legacy. Also, if they ditch that awesome fountain, I won't even know what to say.

I’m honestly sad that Rock’n Roller Coaster’s no longer gonna be with Aerosmith anymore. Then again they did Retire earlier this year. I even Had the honor of seeing them in 2019 at Mass Mutual center in Massachusetts. And plus not only did that ride make me a coaster fan but even more of a rock music lover too. No disrespect to the muppets they’re cool but you can’t top what Aerosmith did on that ride honestly.
I hate to see Muppets 3D go, Disney (ABC) picked them up, and now Monster's Inc, a Pixar-branded amusement, I know they are going to the Rock Roller Coaster, but some people might not be able to ride anymore if you know about the place that takes in the removed items and sells then outright, I remember years back Adam went there.

Muppetvision 3D was the final on-screen performance from Jim Henson. It deserves immortal status for that reason alone. Such sad news.

Whatever opinions you have of the decision, you have to agree it's the wrong decision to still not add any capacity to the park.
They’ve pretty much boxed themselves in. All that WDW land, and they still designed the parks so it’s almost impossible to expand them.
I do wish they would Grow the park, Studios needs to have a larger number of attractions anyways
