I found out that I've been search suggestion banned since May 4th, because that was the day when a mutual of mine told me that they couldn't find my handle through the search, even with the @. Right now, I'm trying to avoid using twitter after deleting a few tweets I've made that I think might have triggered this ban. Should I be deleting only the recent tweets that have immediately cause this ban to happened in the first place or does that also includes old tweets that have been around way longer before this recent ban appeared? Also, does searching things up, even in small doses, prolongs the search suggestion ban?

@@JacobCEdmunds I managed to get the shadowban (well in this case, my second shadowban) lifted today while I was cleaning up my account (such as deleting a few of my contents, a lot of my replies to "low-quality" accounts, and too many reposts I've made during the time the ban happened in the first place). However, I'm worried that I might get immediately shadowbanned again if I were to even make a single tweet and/or like a few tweets thereafter, just like how it happened when my first shadowban got lifted. Even though this shadowban has been lifted now, should I still wait for more days until its good enough for me to know that I can interact on my account again without the ban coming back again? Edit: While deleting a few more tweets, I've ended up accidently reposted a tweet (twice) and now I'm shadowbanned for the third time. Do shadowbans quickly come back if you so much to post a tweet right when the shadowban have just been lifted? Is it true that the more you get shadowbanned, the longer and worse the ban will get?

If you send your username I will look at your account. If you're sharing the same type of content you used to, that's likely the problem. Search suggestion bans don't happen unless you break a rule.
Do you know if using 3rd party analytics service such as Fedica actually causes shadowban? I seemed to have gotten search suggestion ban after connecting my account to that service.

Can Twitter/X detect that you're using your new/burner account to lurk around the site, including the status of your shadowbanned account, even if you're using a different email? If so, would that prolong the search suggestion ban, if not make it permanent, to your main account?
Hello Jacob, I got a temporary label flag on my account for spam/platform manipulation. I don’t reply or comment or post. I just like and rarely retweet (sports, music stuff) So I don’t understand how that would be spam or manipulation. I think there was one video of yours with the same issue and it had an option to request review. But mine doesn’t say that instead it say “Got it”. it doesn’t let me request or appeal. If I paid for premium would it allow me to have that option? If not, what do I need to do for it to be lifted or how to fix it?

A few things here: 1. New accounts get shadow banned super easily. It’s way easier to fix your shadow ban than to start a new account. 2. I do not trust that site.

I have 3 questions if that's okay. What are "too many" actions though? When you look at the x's limits, they're pretty high like 500 msgs and over 2k posts a day... so how come you'd get shadowbanned if you're nowhere near close to those limits? Also, how many posts in a day with a hashtag is safe to post? It's kind of ridiculous that you can't use hashtags on twitter. Finally, sometimes other sb accounts that I interacted with weren't flagged as "low quality" accounts and I only realised they're sb when looked them up in the search bar. Does that mean I need to check every single account before I interact with them?
1. Actions that people get shadow banned for are most commonly following and unfollowing too quickly. I would recommend doing less than 50 of each per day and not all in a row. 2. The problem comes when people put 15 hashtags at the end of their post to try and get more impressions. As long as you only use one per post you should be able to post as many times as you want. 3. Yes, you should get in the habit of checking every account before you interact with them. That’s what I do.

This is my 5th time getting shadobanned, usually I come back and after a couple of days get sb again even though I try to follow all the rules, it's ridiculous and sometimes feels like a real hassle to even use the platform. Could a couple of interactions with other shadowbanned accounts be a sole reason for getting a shadowban that lasts a week? Because that's the only reason I can think of why I got it this time, but at the same time my other mutuals do the same and their accounts are not affected.

If you stop getting shadow banned you shouldn’t need to worry about it. If you create a new account and keep doing the same thing, you will just have the same issues all over again.

I've been doing this on X since 2020 and I have not gotten any problems with my reach being limited until a shadow ban happened somewhere late last month. If the hashtags are the main issues, do I actually have to delete all of my 200+ art posts to remove this shadow ban just because majority of them have hashtags?

Do you happen to know if getting hacked can cause search suggeston ban? I got hacked by a crypto account back in December and I've been search suggested banned ever since. They created posts and $600 worth of advertisements. I'm paying off the fake ads on my x ads account and getting it refunded so fingers crossed following your steps will get the search ban lifted.

There is no need to rush to learn series.You can speak a little faster.The best speed is 1.3 times the original speed. Want to ask X user interface how to arrange posts by view😅
Also check to see if your account is flag for sensitive content as that does it! Also new accounts less than 30 days tend to be shadowbanned too! I think X needs to get rid of the Shadowbans for new and small accounts as that limits there growth potential!
1.-i have an 127k followers account, reach is always very very low since 2021 when I was shadowbanned, the shadowban was lifted in 2022 but I didn't realize it, because I have the option to view sensitive content so I would never know when I was ghostbanned, i got shadowban again around 2022, the fact is that... it wouldn't really bother me to have a shadowban, my account is nsfw, but the reach became the minimum months ago, even with many RTs, likes and comments, for example... one of my tweet with 100 RTs, 1000 likes and 10k views... but reviewing tweets from other users, their average views are double or more, even with fewer RTs (even if they are nsfw accounts) 2.- Can the shadowban manipulate the number of your followers and views, despite having good impressions? I say this because I have observed an SFW artist with 300k followers who was ghostbanned since December 2023, his tweets have around 300-500k views, but his followers never increased after the shadowban, on the contrary, he has not gained followers in months despite uploading constant content with good views.
I have a theory that there is a type of shadowban that somehow discourages you from continuing to post, no matter what you do, no matter if your posts get 1 million views or more, or if elonmusk shares your tweets, you will never win followers or you will lose them immediately as the days go by... the shadowban I had in 2021 was something similar, even though users with 200k or more followers than me shared my content, I did not grow in followers, but I see that you have accounts nsfw can do it even if they have the search suggestion ban, it is really complicated to explain this
Same way you check for a shadow ban. Search for your account from an alt account that doesn’t follow you. If your account doesn’t show up even when you type in the full handle, you are search suggestion banned.

Delete any posts that contain the content I told you to avoid. Before the ban and after.
Searching does not affect your ban.

What kind of accounts did you follow? It’s possible that led to your shadow ban.

Maybe they can detect it, but that shouldn’t impact your other account

Yes it could. From my experience, the more you get shadow banned, the worse the penalty

New accounts get shadow banned really easily. You have to take it easy for the first 3 months or so
Regarding to the "excessive reposting" thing, does that includes quote reposting or can quote reposts be considered as original contents on their own?
Quote posting is better than reposting, but I would still recommend limiting quote posts
Your whole profile shouldn’t be only quote posts

Yes, replies count. It’s impossible to predict how much you will earn because X doesn’t tell you how many verified impressions you had

They created posts and $600 worth of advertisements.

And i guess why i got this 'search suggestion ban' bcs i posted so many videos with hastags🤔 and i trusted those websites... My moots told me that we should engage so we did, nothing changed. They said maybe you should change your usn so i did and nothing changed again. everyone's ban lifted but my stayed. So today, i decided to open a new acc but it got shadowban immediately! Also check to see if your account is flag for sensitive content as that does it! Also new accounts less than 30 days tend to be shadowbanned too! I think X needs to get rid of the Shadowbans for new and small accounts as that limits there growth potential!

1.-i have an 127k followers account, reach is always very very low since 2021 when I was shadowbanned, the shadowban was lifted in 2022 but I didn't realize it, because I have the option to view sensitive content so I would never know when I was ghostbanned, i got shadowban again around 2022, the fact is that... it wouldn't really bother me to have a shadowban, my account is nsfw, but the reach became the minimum months ago, even with many RTs, likes and comments, for example... one of my tweet with 100 RTs, 1000 likes and 10k views... but reviewing tweets from other users, their average views are double or more, even with fewer RTs (even if they are nsfw accounts)
2.- Can the shadowban manipulate the number of your followers and views, despite having good impressions? I say this because I have observed an SFW artist with 300k followers who was ghostbanned since December 2023, his tweets have around 300-500k views, but his followers never increased after the shadowban, on the contrary, he has not gained followers in months despite uploading constant content with good views.
I have a theory that there is a type of shadowban that somehow discourages you from continuing to post, no matter what you do, no matter if your posts get 1 million views or more, or if elonmusk shares your tweets, you will never win followers or you will lose them immediately as the days go by... the shadowban I had in 2021 was something similar, even though users with 200k or more followers than me shared my content, I did not grow in followers, but I see that you have accounts nsfw can do it even if they have the search suggestion ban, it is really complicated to explain this

Same way you check for a shadow ban.
Search for your account from an alt account that doesn’t follow you. If your account doesn’t show up even when you type in the full handle, you are search suggestion banned.
