Haha. Looks like you took my advice 😁😁😁. Awesome sneak peak. Was back up there earlier this winter with the snow. So beautiful. Home away from home. I truly think I could hike Virginia blindfolded on the AT and never get lost and know it step by step

      I certainly did! Lol. 😉
❄️ I bet it looked incredible.
I love that! Would you say VA is your favorite section of the trail? Or do you appreciate each part for different reasons?

@@JessicaSojourning Virginia is originally home, so I’m slightly biased. However, from Ga to Maine, each section is totally amazing and unique to it’s self. Although I am very biased to Va, I would say the NC Highlands and NH Whites and Maine’s 100 Mile Wilderness are my three favorite in no order 😊

Did you make the loop with the Appalachian trail? That's a nice hike

@@JessicaSojourning awesome! I've done that twice. By the way, you really should go up Mount Rogers next time. There's no views, but it's really cool and beautiful up there, really lush and green.

That sounds a little like Unaka Mountain. Now I'm kind of regretting not making the side trip. I guess it gives me more reason to go back!

@@JessicaSojourning I've never been to Unaka, But from the pictures I just looked up, yeah, I would say it's similar.

Looks like a nice hike. Was the trail really that empty, or did you just not film while other hikers were around?

It was a lot of fun! 🐎
A little of both. I only saw other people within and close to the state park boundary. And when I do see people, I typically put the camera away. Last thing I want is someone feeling their privacy is being invaded 😅
