@@keithmuncy7559People always say they had that clark sound they actually have the mosss sound. The Clark was there daddy. To. Blood wise the Clark sisters have the moss sound
@@curtisdrummerellerbe9544 I fully agree with you. Dr Mattie Moss Clark was and always will be a legend in our industry. As for her daughters they truly take their singing talents from their mom and the Moss family. As they say it's in the genes

But today mostly good words people live in sin and call themselves children of God leading songs worship service just like the Pharisees. Today people talk, preach , sing about God but don't really know God.

Nice video. I think my favorite compositions by this group were I've Got A Satisfied Mind and I Don't Want To Do Wrong. I was amazed at how they made such a natural transition into the 70's and the message stayed as spiritual as ever while still addressing the social mores of the day for one too many blacks.
Bill Moss & The Celestials, use to see them in the 70's in Oakland. Most times they would share the platform with The Violinares, Mr Moss told me he & Mr Blair were good friends. Long live traditional gospel music
Is this really 1969 time or a little recent? Or the person who posted the video doesn't really know lol? The clarity is a bit too perfect for a 1969 video
My People are Amazing...I Love Being Black...Thank u Jesus and Praise God
For those that don't know, Bill Moss is the brother of Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and the father of Bill and James "J" Moss!
Mom Essie on lead!
Not surprisingly he's an amazingly talented man. Just like his sister and nieces

Now we know where Jmoss gets his talent from. Both parent are amazing singers and musicians.❤
The very best part about this song is that it's telling how true it is, praise Jesus
Hallelujah praise Him 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏🏿 Amem, Amen,Amen, 👋🏿👋🏿👋🏿
I love take me to the water also up lifting songs. Gospel music to day is not the same

I love this song! get my HG fix every time I hear it.
She sounds like Big Mama Thornton.
Powerful voice!
Bill Jr. Looks just like Mrs. Essie. I just found out Bill Sr. wrote this.
Essie Moss reminds me of Dorothy Love.
Fantastic song and this rendition never fails. I adore the two leads and am grateful for the chance to hear this performance.
Hallelujah!!!
Finally a live version of this song from them🔥🙌🏽🎤
I can definitely see Leo Dr. Clark's son all in his uncle face.
Really good and hard to find anymore. I love it
I still remember the old footage of them singing Anybody here loves Jesus Essie could work a shout song.
Hey Tim, Do you know if the other two ladies besides Essie are their daughters? They look young.
@@ZhairMillerGospelArchive Was Essie Bill's (and Mattie's) sister? Or were they married?

Did Mattie Moss Clark and or the Clark Sisters ever perform on the Jubilee showcase? If so please release the footage.
Love It !!!
And the uncle of The Clark Sisters
Essie moss vocal beast
I didn't know he was the brother of Dr. Mattie Moss. What are the names of the female singers and do they
still live?
The lead singer is Essie Moss, Mr Billl's wife she turned 90 recently.
@@keepingitrealandtruthful.5081 That is amazingly awesome! Thanks for sharing.
I know the girl on the right is Theresa Moss, but who is the girl on the left?
So how can I find a church like this? And by the way I can play saxophone.
IS THAT NASH SHAFFER ON THE ORGAN/PIANO???
Whos the lady on the left
God morning, are Bill Moss and the celestials the originators of this song?

The Jubilee Showcase was on an ABC affiliate station local in Chicago from 1963 to 1984.
Why do y'all think that perfect clarity can't or doesn't exist in the 60s? That's so ignorant 🙄
Jay is his father's TWIN.
Is That Dorothy Love Coates ?
