Reed Kendall Career Highlights

Reed “Bambi” “You Are My Sunshine” Kendall inspires roughly the same amount of fear in his matchups as prime LeBron, Katie Ledecky, Tiger Woods, Serena Williams, or Wayne Gretzky, and arguably has more aura than all of them combined. Reed became known early in his sophomore year for jaw-droppingly athletic bids, but over the next few years proceeded to develop an absolutely complete game as a primary cutter and shutdown defender, while throwing virtually no turns. Seriously, I can’t remember the last time he threw it away. He’s a rock not only on the field but off it, serving as a senior captain and an emotional fulcrum for the team. Whenever we needed his presence, whether in the form of a steadying hand or a sky so lethal that it should come with a warning, he was there. Every time someone has tried to summarize his impact after a tournament this season, they have come up short, and this will be no exception - there are no words that can adequately explain what he does, except perhaps “Fuck” (when you’re trying to guard him) and “Jesus Christ” (when you’re watching from the sidelines). All I can say is: enjoy the show. We love you Reed.
