Isekai Quartet... looks weird when they don't have the Granddaddy of Isekai, Dunbine. Y'know what, let's try an old school mecha Isekai Quartet! Ehem. Dunbine, Wataru, Rayearth, Escaflowne... Sounds... legit...?
Well not trying to be a kill joy since I also want a lot of the older Isekais (especially the ones with giant fuck off robots). But Isekai Quartet is a Kadokawa crossover, it just wouldn't make sense to have shows that are not owned by Kadokawa to show up.
At first, I was baffled at how the Dunbine opening would get a new version after just getting one in X. Then I remembered that the same thing happened with Gundam Seed Destiny's Pride in the transition from Z3: Jigoku and Z3: Tengoku (and it should be weirder for the latter, as they are essentially 2 parts of the same game).
What blows my mind is they remake a song they just had a new version of in the previous game, but leave other songs the exact same for multiple games in a row.
@@Seraphil1 maybe they already have two version of when developing X and chose the better one for it. Then they using the other version for T so the OST can be different.
@@Seraphil1 Yeah, there's so much reused music it's really annoying. How many god damn times do we need to hear Fleet Battle?! I wish they made more remixes like they did with Dancouga's 2nd OP in GC/XO/OE.
Tobe, Dunbine but MIQ had a sore throat.mp3 In all seriousness though, is this just a difference in application, tuning, or instruments? I'm honestly not as well-versed in the various kinds of saxophones as I would hope...
SRW, where your favorite characters get to live.
Gai Diagoji dies tho
@@303Thatoneguynot all the time
He can live in SRW A and he survives in SRW W By Default

I just watched the series and loved it! I enjoyed how they combined it with Rayearth, too!
X and T Sound Are Different anyway it's amazing song theme of dunbine back then it was X ver.
Best isekai
The best and the first one
Time to teach weebs nowadays with a best isekai anime ever exists
One of best
Either they used actual instruments for this or MIDI is getting better.
This ain’t the 90s lol but hey don’t use midi anymore they barely used that back then
Man this sax is so 80s
The sax sounds more smoother in X, IMHO.
Yeah it really does. This one sounds ragged.
Yah, the player probably was growling for most of the recording. I personally like it, however I can see why it’s not always appealling
adolhein it's the sax they use for the family matters theme song
Ehhh I just listened to them back to back and X's sax messes up the notes a bit
Flagged for excessive Sax Content!
For every dislike, Tomino kills a waifu.
hahahaha i hope he can make some more UC gundam show before he passed away
@@RYHo-ni4my I don't. I hate that Tomino Always makes the best girls die.
@@capmar-vell92returns20 Well, welcome to Tomino's show lol. At least he never killed characters for non-sense reasons.
@R.Y. Ho ...Too bad Tomino doesn't kill off all his characters. If he did, he could be George R. R. Martin's twin.
@@DeltaSilver88 tbh Tomino killed characters with reasons, not just randomly pick one. But one time he did kill all characters :))))
This is a good theme as well, love it!

Rafael Antonio Dabalos I believe it’s a tenor sax, and the player is purposefully growling to give it that raspy tone
Tomino, the man who worked on dunbine then gundam
so many trumpets used for the songs this time around.... Is it cuz cowboy bebop?
The only disappoint there is there are no battleship included in dunbine
Hyper aura slash again.
ORE WA SENNSHIIII!!! 😩
Huh. Between all the recycled material, I wouldn't have guessed they'd feel the need to rework this one. Still good though.
