I'm always teary-eyed everytime I listen to this song. We watched the movie with my 2 nieces and can't believe both of them are grown up. I remember my guinea pig which I named Moana. Will never ever forget this song. It's engraved in my heart. 🥹

I love this song from Moana. When I hear this song I think about how my hometown of Columbus Ohio has grown since I was born and how much I love Columbus not only because it's were I was born and raised but how I have seen it changed and become the beautiful city it is today

im curious as to why it is popular to want to be a lost tribe of juda. American Blacks, native americans, now polynesians (apparently). Everybody wants to be a jew, but why can't they be satisfied/ proud with being themselves (both as individuals and as a People-group) ?

Your comment "everybody wants to be a jew" is in my view quite premature don't you think. "Everybody" seriously. I don't know what ethnic background you are from and I am sure that there are great things about it, but I am Samoan who wants to discover my ancient origins as a people and who belong to many different nation groups of Polynesia. "Everybody wants to be a jew" is certainly not the case in point. Yisrael is the focus not Judaism. Judah is only 1/12 of Israel, And no, not everybody wants to be a jew and certainly not to adopt current Judaism and its Babylonian Talmud whom the Son of Yahuwah denounced. In fact, those that currently and wrongfully occupy Israel today are not Hebrew, but rather Khazar in origin (Read "The 13th Tribe" by Koestler). Actually, it is Opetaia Foa'i who does the singing here. Lin-Manuel Miranda doesn't do any vocals with this song. Opetaia Foa'i also co-wrote the song including the arrangements. There's a video on TH-cam where Opetaia Foa'i talks about the production of this number.

I hear you, and I thank you for your feedback. I actually have official "MHP" logos that are about 15 seconds long, and shorter ones that are 5 seconds. But, the ones attached to these MOANA remixes I made I actually made them 52 seconds on purpose to kinda of musically time them to that intro, because I just musically like the way the song helps introduce each video. But thanks, I love comments that help me grow like that. :)
