Well, Kiana started her journey 12 years,

o7 honestly I couldn’t cry, my heart was a bit sad but more filled with the happiness of how much Kiana and her friends have grown together
In this moment we part ways with 2 Heroes
Kevin: The Progenitor and the Hero that still commit to his cause for the greater good despite it's drastic nature
Kiana: The Successor and the Rising Child that overcome numerous trial and error and do what the Heroes of the past couldn't
Such a long, beautiful journey, isn't it.

After all this, I wonder what Mihoyo gonna do with Fu Hua. She's the only one (that actively involved with the girls) that still alive. Su is in another dimension, and Mobius is debatable whether she makes it or not better to write her off as dead for now, Griseo has basically become the girl in the "Sheltered" music video right now. did I miss someone that could possibly be alive? I think I got them all.
So, Yeah. I'm curious about what Mihoyo gonna do.

kiana need to stay on moon for 5-10 years to clean the earth from honkai
she can still communicate with her friends, call/ video call, she can do it all the time they want/they can
even kiana can create her own space to interact physically with mei and bronya
so yeah nothing actually much change
it's never about sadness, the reason da capo hits hard not because it's goodbye to kiana but it's a trace of her journey that we have experienced together with her, so it hits hard with us emotionally...
it's ever shown by ai-chan that her routine in doesn't much change, sleep, eat playing games with bronya...

Did you guys know aparently mihoyo made a mobile game years ago back in 2011, that was just a platformer of a character named Kiana Kaslana and all she did was use a jetpack to fly to the moon. Look at kiana now.
