I've never noticed a light coming off a chameleon user (while under its effects) but the lighting can be very different when compared to other objects in the area. Like you'll see a tree with normal shading/lighting and sometimes you'll see a player(tree) and they'll be like pitch black
There's one spot to the right of the spawn where there's a small tree in the water. I cut that down and chameleon'd into the tree right in the middle. I sat there for about an hour and a half and watched invaders run to and fro and leave and repeat, it was great.
The music is from Babe LOL. But I can top this. I equipped full black knight gear with the black knight greatsword and stood as the 2nd knight in the kiln. The invader ran right past me until he reached the end of the level. On his way back, I backtabbed him with the hornet ring. He still sends me hate mail XD.

Go back to the shore where you fought the Hydra, and you'll see her summon sign. Once summoned, you can buy a catalyst and various sorceries and miracles from her.
Yep. The fletcher's knife (the official name has not been disclosed yet) that you can get from killing Hawkeye Gough is supposed to be a sleeper just like Ricard's rapier. I can't wait for this DLC/PC edition.. GAAAH!!!
I disguised my self as a barrel in the Undead church, I then casted Twop with my stone greatsword +5 and killed the level 1 griefer, hopefully he won't be a fail Darkwraith any more.

@braley850 Go to Darkroot basin, and defeat the Hydra. Once it's dead, hug the left wall of the lake, and walk along until you find a cave with a crystal golem in it. Defeat that, and you'll free the person trapped inside. After that, you can find her summon sign (you can summon her even when hollow) by the lake where the Hydra was. She sells the chameleon spell.
I invaded someone as a forest hunter and the target was hiding as a tree while waiting for his phantom to summon. I quickly punished him, its kinda sad he couldn't fight without help.
Actually, the heaviest armor build I have is paladin chestpiece with Havel's leggings and gauntlets, and the second heaviest is full eastern set with bighat. Lightest is full dragon form. WH4T N0W.
Every time I am in NG, it's griefers, Heavy armor, herp derp mask, stamina sheild masters and ring of stamina master, weapons, lightning Zweihanders, and or lightning anything... That has high stagger, and lagstab. Then in NG+ it's actually good players, besides the few Black knight great axes and or lightning Great Swords.
yeah, he pushed it way too far at the end. I'd just move a couple inches to one side when they're not around, then move back, and repeat.Sub-tlety is what gets people every time.
By the way, the paladin + havel build is the 713 and is basically only for farming purposes or BB glitching if I need to make a new character REALLY REALLY FAST.

First time I saw this spell was when somebody invaded my world my summon friend suddenly turned into a tree I was like wtf is going on, then I got what he wanted to do. Worked a treat, invader bolted up to me, oblivious to the tree, attacked, then *pop* tree backstab! My first win at pvp (by someone else...). It's just as funny as when people roll off the cliff.
Unrelated to the other guy. I have about 160 hours on my most recent build. level 430 on NG+++. I used to use Ornsteins Armor + Havel's Gauntlets/boots with Pharis's hat for awhile. the armors meshed well. Now? With DLC, I use bandit pants, Travellers gloves, Hollow theif's hood, And chesters long coat. Weapons. I'm more of a dex guy. I'm using the gold tracer now. but I used to use a chaos Iaito beforehand.

Gough looks like the kind of person you don't want to fuck with though, on account of lugging about a bow that shoots javelins. He also looks like a 1980s hippie if he was transported to the Mad Max universe.
Those laggy backstabs are so annoying, even more annoying is when people purposely go for them. They look like they're 15 feet in front of you, but manage to backstab you sometimes, love it.
I'm pretty sure that enemy players don't have the glow you see on your own screen. If you noticed the two who invaded didn't glow at all aside from the blue "Revenge seeker" mist they get. ^ ^

I invade, hide, and use chameleon, and sit there watching the host run around in growing desperation trying to find me, ultimately giving up and either challenging the boss unprepared or turning off the system. I told Gwyndolin that wasting ten minutes of someone's day was a much crueler vengeance than merely killing them.
Amazing video. I'm pretty sick of getting griefed by idiots, and taking them out of the equation makes you a credit to the game. How long is the time lapse near the end of the video? How long did this -actually- go on?

Basicly what happens to me when I'm in forest human form, 5 people in my server: me, a sommoned person, two blue dark moon guys, and an invader.

Sneak around to the back by Alvina in full bandit armor. Kill the one bandit guy there. Stand in his place perfectly still. Just as fun as chameleon.

The Chameleon Sorcery you get in Oolacle, it's the new DLC
and then you fight the one tryhard who has memorized where all the actual bushes are.
Ricard's Rapier is really overpowered if you have the proper setup, it's pretty much a really rough diamond waiting to be cut

that was 2v1, the 3rd person was a forest guardian npc. The invaders were forest hunter covenanters, he was being punished. QQ, the pvp is fine.
