The mouse can be captivated with the trap and work like a guillotine , but with a blunt angle on the cleaver ( which is made of wood ) the mouse will break his neck and will die immediately , so there is no blood on the trap.!!
I am selling the building plans for this mousetrap , the trap is not patented.!.
The plans are drawn with Sketchup and they cost 20 euro's.
There are in total 40 drawings , assembly drawings are included...
I still have to put the drawings on Onedrive because the file is to big for email.
By the end of tomorrow they are available !!.
All parts are drawn accurately and precisely.
The electrical diagram is included.
Parts lists are also included in the operating instructions
The material costs for this trap are approx. 20 euro's...
You need a 3D printer to make some parts of the trap!

This is actually one of the most clever designs I've seen here.
Six batteries is far from clever. Who made this Elon Musk ? At least it's down from his 4,000 batteries to run his golf carts tricked out to resemble a car.
I was just telling a friend that I have to buy one of those cameras like Shawn uses. I had a bobcat in the back yard the other day and that's one beautiful animal. I had a diamondback rattlesnake a few weeks ago, also. I have no idea what goes on at night and would love to find out!

I like the traps but with all the traps hes shown, I want to see a Shawn woods mouse trap..he has so much experience..he needs to get the best of the best designs n combine them to make the ultimate trap that gets any mouse

This is probably the best-designed mousetrap I have seen on this channel. It does a clean kill and resets. There is no peril for the mouse to go through (as with the rolling log mousetraps) Great job.

@@donaldbrown7715 There is a thing called the internet. It is really useful. All you have to do a search on a big word you don't understand. In the old days, we had to go to a dictionary. I know, you have no idea what that is. Just copy the word and paste it into a search engine. Then like magic, it comes back with what that word means and you LEARN something. ;-)

Shawn, I think I've watched almost all your videos, they're all so entertaining! I've always wondered though, (and hope you could do a video of it) if you set up multiple multi-mice catching traps in different spots and see which ones the mice seem to get trapped by the most in one night. It would be a cool idea and could maybe make a cool video!

In order for shawn to keep *doing* his job, does his barn have to always be infested with rodents?
defiantly, i have a chicken farm and NEED to completely get rid of mice. I use a bucket trap and very rarely see live mice. Shawn needs to have mice around to make videos
I know he sometimes films in other people's barns, especially when he does squirrel videos.

That's one of the best thing about this trap, the repeatability.
Gear ratio needs to be adjusted. That's why it's running through 2 or 3 rounds before it stops.
I thought it was the gate getting stuck open......
@@muskokamike127 I think so too, on reset the end of the guillotine hits the trigger again and causes the cycle. A little more of a gap between the guillotine and the gate would fix it.
@@WizardofGOP there's a LOT of adjustments/refinements that are needed.
It's a brilliant idea but I have a feeling he's young, and inexperienced. Hence the "rough" construction. I mean, he used nails are axles for the door lol.
He should also coat the guillotine in lacquer, otherwise it's going to get bloody and be a petrie dish of bacteria.
I'd also be wiring in a 6v ac/dc adapter right quick. Duracells will get expensive real quick!

Thumbs up for the great Bobcat videos. I used to live in the Santiam Canyon in Oregon and would sometimes see them on the property. Beautiful animals, but my all-time favorite is still the mountain lion.

I really enjoy this guys channel,n this mousetrap is some piece of work. I'm sure it would cost more than a reg.spring loaded trap,but it's way cooler.
