  • Hillbrow and Johannesburg Most feared streets at night. Was told not to come here night time. They said if I film here weekdays especially evening or night time I will face consequences 🤷
So I came and this what happened.
Will start the walk around Noord Taxi Rank. Will go around the said dangerous different streets. Will then proceed to Hillbrow and into Berea just a little and back into Hillbrow streets.
Will then heed back to Johannesburg CBD and it's late time indeed. I will walk every assumed dangerous streets around Noord. Went through so much challenges and I loved the experience.
Enjoy the video and share it to your friends and family 😊

the city workers need to keep those streets clean so that the area will look more present able. there should be a penalty for littering those streets

Amazing. I used to work there at the paging station in Ponte for taxis etc as a student from 1984 Those days we had pagers. I
worked at tour center travel agency in the city and at steers as manager. I was a production assistant for Sky film company at a young age and with them I became Anneline Kriels /kerzner/driver in Hillbrow too “a reason to die” with Arnold Vosloo and Wings Hauser before I moved to The Netherlands . I loved working everywhere I used to work with Milton(1984/5 I remember his name) Omg I got so many stories also about the races whom you won’t believe it’s true.

@@pontianekakoro1737 😂 u know u remind of something. When I did a first Hillbrow video on this channel some said I only did a small part that's why I wasn't harmed. They then said I must go deeper into Hillbrow if I had guts 😀
Fine, I then did a weekend afternoon video deeper in hillbrow and deeper in Berea Hoods same video, very long video on this channel.
      Guess what they said again?😀🙌
They said I did the video on a weekend, I should do it evening time and during week days if I want to see how bad is Hillbrow.
Guess what I did again?..I came back to do a video from late evening to around 9pm that's obviously night time on a weekday.
Mixed an evening and Into night video to try give people what they need. Lol, to my surprise they say I must walk from a certain area to MTN at 8pm and see if no harm will befall me😂😂
It's funny cause on this video I did all the MTN parts early evening and around 8:30pm .That's late. Still I didn't get hurt 🤗
And now u say it wasn't evening night yet.
      Guys, enough of this don't u think?🙆😂
I think I have done enough of Hillbrow videos. It's not bad as people say. That's what I observed . Just need to be cleaned. That's all 🙂

@@Walk_Africa Honestly, in most parts of urban Africa, 9pm is still very early with so much human traffic. Thugs start prowling from around 11pm-12am on wards and are off the streets from 4am. Do a video in those hours please. In my own city, there are places I will go comfortably but I would never attempt that late coz I am very certain it wouldn't end well. So yes, you haven't walked that part late enough😂😂

A majority of people in the areas you went through are moving very quickly and with purposes. Does matter the time of the day or evening. The people are taking care of their business or hustles to survive. As long as many people are around, you are safe in the areas and locations you traveled to.

Very interesting. Obviously JHB is a complex city. With so many ilegal immigrants on top of the local flood of people coming into the city to find work, there will be a percentage that are up to no good. These are sad and desperate times for far too many. On the whole, I still think the media have an agenda to portray SA as "failing". Because of the municipal strike in Pretoria, that is now also being shown as a collapsing, failed city, which is far from reality. Thanks for this one!
