Gday not sure if you are aware but the filler plug needs to be more than hand tight as they will come loose with vibration and you will get an oily leg. Nice mods looks good 👍
So, it takes 2 litres of oil to fill it up if you don't take the sump off. Is it worth risking oil leaks, over/under tightening, etc, for few extra mills you might get rid off?
Hi! Could you please tell me the tightening torques? Especially the sump bolts - I think that according to the size of the bolts it should be about 10Nm, but I cannot sure. I have found only for the drain plug's torque in the service manual which is 12Nm if I remember well. Thank you in advance.
THANK YOU.
VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
WELL done.
10/10.
I Learnt a LOT.

There is no need to drop the sump. Thats why they have 2 drain plugs
There are 2 drain plugs on the V7. One at front, one at rear of sump. You are meant to remove both. Torque them back to 12NM with new crush washers

bit silly me thinks. Each to their own.

I have no idea mate. I do all my tightening by hand. Just be careful not to overtighten on aluminium
