I started playing nearly 2 months ago, and today I had my very first encounter with a Galarian bird today. Rainy, windy and daily incence. Believe it or not, but one silver pinap berry and one Ultra ball later, Zapdos checked in to my pokedex. Let the rest be just as easy 😅
Two days ago I was taking a walk and a Galarian Articuno spawned. I threw a curved ultraball without landing a nice, great, or excellent, expecting it to rip out and flee as it always does. But this time, not only did I catch it, I caught it on a critical capture. I couldn't believe it what happened. The only thing that kinda sucked that I already used my master ball on another Galarian Articuno, but it was still an awesome moment and probably one of the best highlights of my seven years of pokemon go experience.
Articuno is the one that keeps getting away from me! 😂 I’ve seen three times now I’ve hit a great and an excellent curve with a golden berry ultra ball. It still jumps out.

I have never had a master ball . I was too hard to get it and i have studies to do.. so, was unable to complete the research.. But i caught 1 galarian Articuno and 1 galarian Moltres with ultra ball😊
I have found a total of five galairian birds, first a zapdos that ran, a moltres that I caught with normal razz and ultra ball, zapdos the same day as the moltres on a daily incence, another zapdos around the area of my home, and finally another zapdos while driving. Do not worry somebody else was driving.

I have a G moltres (best buddied ages ago. I encountered a… wait for it, non weather boosted G zapdos the other day. 49 cp… did the usual, golden razz, excellent curve etc, the bugger ran away!
Saw a G Articuno and G Moltres on the same incense... Missed the Articuno but somehow got the Moltres and was screaming with my friends who don't play hahah
It took me about a year to catch them all. First Articuno after 6 months, then Zapdos maybe 2,3 weeks after Articuno and last was Moltres when they added masterball. I was going daily no matter what. It paid off.
Came across galarian moltres today,which is the one I want the most,already used my master ball on mewtwo like an absolute div and it ran away and I’m genuinely devastated
Ive gotten an articuno while driving with a regular razz berry and ultra ball and a throw that didnt even land in the circle, caught it. Then used a master ball on zapdos. Working on getting my other master ball now in hopes of getting the moltres and collecting all 3!

I caught at 2650 cp glarain Zapdos not knowing how little the chance was and it have helped me count less times to win raids, battles, kick Pokémon out of gyms it is the best Pokémon I have and I’m so grateful I have it and at such a high cp 😊
My first galarian zapdos encounter went like this: *me screaming, finding my favorite*, gives golden razz, it's around 1300 cps, misses first throw, throws second and gets a great, shakes three times and us caught. He is now my partner in crime and is name ramsay
I encountered a wild galarian Zapdos, 361 cp or something and I didn't have a master ball, ultra ball, or golden razz because I recently just started last month. It unfortunately fled which I saw coming.
My only encounter with one of these was like 3-4 months ago while i was headed to school. I used ultraball golden razz and excellent curveball, it broke free instantly and my day was ruined. The next day they released the masterball, i was so pissed
Dude when I was a noob and didn’t fully understand it, I onetime saw a Galarian articuno and I threw a normal poke ball at it thinking it was a normal bird and my friend freaked out at me
I was going back home from on the bus. My best friend was sitting next to me. I said that it would be insane if I encountered a Galarian Bird when I popped the daily incense. Guess what? I did encounter a Galarian Articuno and used the master ball on it. I'm so happy I had a master ball.
I literally just yesterday caught galarian zapdos with a great ball & a regular razz berry with only a great curveball. I think I’m the luckiest dude on earth because there’s no way I should have caught him like that but I did.
I've managed to get Arti and zapdos, moltres is the last one I need. Not that I condone it, but another fun fact. Driving will certainly create distance and while pokemon usually don't spawn cause you're going too fast. the adventure pokemon will still spawn and will despawn faster from getting out of range.
This. This right here is the single most likely way to get Niantic to listen to the idea that this setup is DANGEROUSLY DUMB! Their stated goal is to get us to explore, but their asinine "has to be in a straight line" bit makes distracted driving a FAR more effective spawn strategy than exploring my neighborhood, my work, the local parks, the 3 closest malls, the closest mountain range, and the nearest national park and national forest and national recreation area because the road is in a straight line and NONE of the others are (most not even close!). Extreme scarcity leads to extreme min/maxing, which incentivizes dangerous and illegal behavior here.

You can get Master Ball from quest "Let's Go!", It catches any Pokemon without failing

Every time I’ve thrown an excellent throw it’s an automatic pop out of the ball and flee but when it’s a nice or great throw always out wiggles twice😢
