I don't think Jimmy bothers with this type of singing. Definately from his on stage singing in his past. Just goes to show just how talented that whole family is. He has such a childish joker personality and we love him for it, but when that man gets deadly serious he puts every fibre of his being into his work and changes his mindset like a switch.

David didn't know that Jimmy was his dad until he was an adult, he spent quite a bit of time in the US with a Cabaret show (I think it was a one man show), once he came home to Australia he has done a lot of Musical theatre here as well as his Cabaret style, He can get the gravel of his dad in his voice but it's not sustainable for him it really ruins his voice for a while after doing it

Oh it’s took me 4 1/2 minutes to realize this is Jimmy Barnes his son. Ha ha. I actually think I would prefer Jimmy singing this song. I didn’t like the way David started off with such a strident, bright tone. Something rounder and softer is what I’m used to, But I know I’m probably nitpicking. He can obviously sing.
David loves a good Cabaret, been in many musicals. I like that he isn't like Jimmy as there can only be one Jimmy. I'm not a fan of David to be fair, don't like his opinions much at all but he can be a funny bloke at times.. I dont dislike the bloke, just dont agree with him a lot..

He is right up there. Hugh Jackman did Les miserables the movie but David has a superb voice & sings many genres.

I ran into Davis in a donut shop in kings cross in 2015. He was really friendly.
