I love this sketch, it’s from the first episode of the Souvenir Program I ever listened to... but on the other hand it’s going to be stuck in my head for days now!
This has made my day! 😃 My partner works in the bus industry, this song has been on my mind since we discovered we were having a baby! Our friends found they were having a baby at the same time as us & the husband is also a trained driver. I wanted to play this to them but struggled to find the episode on BBC sounds. ❤️ Thank you so much! Xxx
Oh and another friend was singing the wheels on the bus to my son. She sang the line "the Daddies on the bus fall fast asleep"....god help the passengers 😂 Also after the bus accidentally rolled backwards into a house in Oxford, it holds a new charm.

Hi John, thanks for uploading these. This is a long-shot request, but I recall a radio sketch that may have come from the souvenir programme: a man is waiting for a bus/train, and is approached by another man who offers to sell him a DVD, and is very insitent. It also involves a joke about a pen as the punchline? Thanks for all the laughs you have given me over the years!
Dear John Finnemore! I love you writings, I've been listening to all your comedy shows since i discovered the first episode of Cabin Pressure. I am studying English and using your writing as a material. I listened to Double Acts, Ep 1. And there is a place I cant make out. When Dolorosa says about "drinking achaka" and playing "tame punker". I googled but I still cant really understand what do those things mean. Maybe you clarify?
I want a full release/album, of all the songs in the Souvenir Programme.
It needs to be called A Song for Everyday of the Year.
