Hi Mohammad. I would like to ask is it AQ2016 spreadsheet easy compared to AQ2022. I have exam in end of August. So I can get idea as AQ2016 so much to cover from mmac, avbk and fapr. Please let me know 🙏
It depends how you apply your spreadsheet skills. In AQ16 the knowledge of both MMAC and FAPR will be tested widely. In AQ22 only Management accounts will be tested. You will also have face 2 questions with the total of 32 marks (26.67 pro rated to 100) whilst in the older quals it is a standalone assessment with just competent outcome. For me I found new quals easier. all the best.
Thank you so much. I might go then apply mats exam then. As I have three units left in AQ2016. Indirect tax, Synoptic and spreadsheet. Is aq2022 Indirect tax easy in comparison to aq2016. How long duration to finish thus spreadsheet task? Or its included in 2and half hour exam. ?
The whole MATS exam is for 2.5 hours with 4 regular Qs and 2 Spreadsheet Qs. There is no separate time limit lol in old AQ16 AVSY assessment.
