Great scenery as well....light lunch...and a friend drops by. That's the great thing about riding...no matter what bike, it is always an adventure. Garth
Really enjoying your videos, brings back lots of memories growing up in Woopi. Retirement is approaching fast and will be moving back to Woopi in a little while, looking forward to exploring the area again
Make sure you watch someone warm up a DRZ on a cold morning, before you bite the bullet on one ha. My old boy has a near brand new 2022. I have to admit, it goes pretty well and there is no shortage of budget parts. But i have remind myself how good it is to start my fuel injected bike up first try. I can then roll straight out into nature without annoying the neighbours with long warm up times 😏
Cold starts, and carbys can be a painful combo - remember I had a DR 650 for 50,000 plus kays, so I'm well aware.....lol I found a little patience, and throttle technique made the cold starts do-able 👍 Cheers mate 🍻
Yeah I've looked at that terrible start to the track you stopped at... looked only, haha! I had a half-assed look for Scout Falls too - was several years ago, and I don't remember finding any signs for it, and by the looks, it's a bit of a local hidden gem really. Well worth the rock scramble to get there Phil!!
She's a wild but fun ride off the top down into Sherwood Creek Road - definitely not for the CBX!...lol The falls are stunning - and people free during the cooler months - well worth the walk in David 👍
Great video, magic place. Now I have my bike I will be looking for places like this to go and explore. I did my first dirt ride last weekend, loving it! These videos inspire me to get out there and go on an adventure.
Gotta love the waterfall! Regards bikes...I test rode a CfMoto 450MT that a mate has just bought. Very, very impressive for the dirt and gravel? At under $10,000 it's a bike I would seriously consider next time!
Cheers Doug 👍 Yeah, those CFMoto"s are selling like cakes. A lot of bike for the bucks 👍 Apparently 200 have been sold on the Mid North Coast since Xmas 😳
Cheers Sam! Just watched your latest vid - 😳 Damn!! Amazing waterfall, crazy climb in there. Legends 💪😎💦 Yep, will get to Fig Tree - not sure when...lol Will get there 👍
Another cracking video Phil, your winters are the same as our summers 😅. The DRZ is a very popular bike, we can’t get them here in the UK or Europe because it has a carb instead of fuel injection (eu emissions) If Suzuki made it fuel injection they would sell like hot cakes. Looking forward to hearing / seeing what you think about it. 👍🏻
Nice video Phil, it seems endless the amount of areas up there to explore. Ha ha I just bought a 300 Rally, and DRZ was on the short list, but I couldn't go back to Carbie.🤣 I can't believe how comfortable the Rally is cruising on the road, the DRZ will have its work cut out to compete with that. I still have a T7, but well see which bike gets the most love. Good luck with the DRZ. 👍
So many places I'm yet to see - I'm trying to see them all...lol And yeah, the Rally's are terrific on asphalt (sub 100 kph), good mile covering machines with minimal fuel outlay for sure. T7 - sweet machine Jethro 😎. Carbies - yep fuel injection is the way to go. Catch ya mate
I'm gone with the rally! Good luck!

Well put Garth , summed up riding for fun / leisure nicely 👍 Was a sweet day our, and terrific waterfall I was yet to see 👍

@@MidCoastAdventures Ah yes! I'd forgotten about the 650 beast.
We just need Honda to bring out a CB500 in a 300 Rally body. It'd fly out the door...
@@TwoWheelerSparky Absolutely!
Lol yer my DRZ hates cold mornings.
Ahh the mighty drz (zed) wouldn’t mind one of those one day but I’m happy with the xt660 great vid cheers Phil 👍ps zed 😂
