God Poet is so salty. As an Arsenal fan he doesn't realize that you don't need 70% of the ball to play well. We were completely comfortable against Southamton, they caused fuck all problems for our defense, and at points in that game our attacks were beautiful. What a ridiculous point to make with "Yeah, well City won by more so United don't convince me." Watch the two games. City won 4-1 because a tired Stoke team over-committed in looking for an equalizer and got punished in the last few minutes because of it. We won 2-0 because we completely controlled the game, were clinical going forward, and had had no problems at the back.

Zlatan is the best striker in the prem. he's a physical phenomenon. He's 195 cm and weights around 95kg and still has more tekkers and is more acrobatic than Aguero. No doubt Aguero is sick, and would probably fit in pretty much every team. But for me Zlatan edges it. Btw for all the people thashtalking serie A, you obviously haven't watched football for long. When Zlatan played there that was the best league. There was always an Italian team fighting for the title

I think Aguero is up there with the top bpl strikers in history. If he stays in the league for a couple more years with this form he will become a bpl legend. Suarez is better but only just and I think Lewandowski and Ibra are right behind them. Ibra just didn't seem to run much in the Southampton game in the last third. He seemed un fit.

The Stoke Man City match was a bit of an odd game, and the scoreline looks more convincing than the game really was. I'd like to re-run that game without all the drama around the new penalty box directive, which caught out both teams but caught out Stoke first and kind of left them chasing the game. I think Man City deserved it and would have won anyway because they are better than Stoke, but the scoreline might have been closer without all the reffing drama...

There is a new type of football 'fan' emerging recently that is more of a 'football consumer' than a fan. Arsenal just happen to have more entitled football consumers than most clubs. Just because you invest 5 minutes into a club doesn't mean you get to enjoy instant success as a result - enjoying success or even progress has nothing to do with being an actual fan. That does not mean you cannot be disappointed but booing your teams or behaving like those Arsenal fans is just a joke. Football is worse for having these types of fans.

aguero is an amazing striker, no doubt about that, but suarez is the best by far: 60 goals and 23 assists last season! Crazy!
Ibra and Aguero are up there I agree, but Suarez for all his faults has done it in the prem and la liga, he rarely has a bad game, he's such a lethal finisher. I think he is a class above anyone else in that position

Based off last season, imo the best strikers in the world are: 1-Suarez, 2- Lewandowski, 3-Zlatan, 4-Higuain, 5-Aguero.
