@theresataylor1565, we feel the same about peaches! We just wish peach season were longer! We live in Quebec (and get the Ontario peaches) and the season is only about a month and not until mid-August! Sigh.
Wow 2 minutes and 41 sec is impressive hand cream whipping speed!!! Last time I timed myself it was 2 min and 63 seconds 😊😂 Looks super yummy and simple!
@dominicdurocher3984, if you practice more I bet you too could get to 2 minutes and 41 seconds! Your time is pretty good too though. It is indeed very delicious and easy to make!
@adamfreeman5609, we think you can do that, but you'll need to cook the purée with the cornstarch or custard powder to thicken it. We have no idea of quantites. But yes, it's possible to do it that way!
@RM-tc9pu, I had to look up tuiles. They look so good! And they do look like they would go perfectly along with a mousse. We will try making them! Sarah
@pmsteamrailroading, glad that someone recognized the uranium glass! I worried about that myself. I also have a uranium pitcher. But I did some research and my mind is at ease. I'm including a link to an article. Also, we don't use the glass other than for videos. We did eat the peach mousse from the glass, and our daughters too, but we don't generally use it. Looks like the level of radiation is similar to using a cellphone or flying in an airplane: www.washingtonpost.com/home/2022/10/11/collecting-uranium-glass-advice/

Is it possible to use some custard powder or some corn starch rather than gelatine?

If you try that @adamfreeman5609, let us know how it works out!
Easy, in fact. Maybe with "tuilles" rather than "amaretti"?
@RM-tc9pu, I had to look up tuiles. They look so good! And they do look like they would go perfectly along with a mousse. We will try making them! Sarah
@@GuillermoandSarah They go well with mousses, ice-cream, or just a nice cup of tea!
I’m not so sure about actually serving stuff in uranium glass.
