You're gonna need a part 2 with multiple Mike Alstott runs, Marion Barber versus the Patriots, various Jerome Bettis runs, the James Harrison SB pick six, and I'm sure some more that I have missed. Great video though! Love me the truck stick!
"The Run" by Tommy Frazier is an amazing highlight, i was 12 years old and playing QB for my Pop Warner team, but seeing that play live with my older brother Jason was absolutely effing incredible, that Nebraska crowd was rowdy that whole night, but Tommys run took Sun Devil stadium and Frank Kush field to another level that play. Personally the greatest run for a TD i have witnessed, either by TV or In person. Still gives me chills watching that play. Florida never had a chance that game.
The last one, with Lynch, it was great seeing linemen and the QB going all out to help him score. That’s confidence their guy always has a chance to do something amazing, and they better be involved to the end, just in case.
Yes, it was unusual. But that in itself has always struck me as odd. As a high school lineman we did that every single play. Even if the runner was 20 yards downfield you sprinted toward him, on the off chance you could contribute. What would be the value of standing around gawking? Plus, getting caught spectating would bring down the coach's unholy rath. Strange the pros don't have that same ethic. (Though if I weighed 320 lbs. I might see it differently.)
BTW for those wondering: the Vikings' Adrian Peterson and the Georgia Southern Adrian Peterson are NOT one in the same!!!! (The former went to Oklahoma, I believe...) Addition: The GSU Adrian Peterson went to the Bears.
I've said this before, if you that call exists, it has to go both ways. Either that OR you need to introduce mitigating factors that prevents defensive players from getting targeting called on them for going to tackle an offensive player while they're lowering themselves to either cover the ball or truck the defender. I understand the call is there for player safety but it shouldn't go one way and not the other, which in itself contradicts the idea that it is for player safety.
@@mattnorris7124 Agreed - it should go both ways. Because both former offensive and former defensive players are dying from CTE. Check Wiki: it is ugly.
The only targeting I think should be a call is when a qb slides and then gets hit but not if the person hitting him was already in motion when the qb started slide
Nah they don’t bk the game has changed. No Reggie Bush USC??? #BeastMoDe is all about the Monster… Cuttin, choppin, struttin, stopin, truckin, and #Betathrown. Henry is beast.. Campbell, Sanders, Smith, Walker, AP baby. All beasts!! Shyt Fridge was beast when u needed 2 stick it in… Bettis… Faulk?? Backs are the hardest continuous players. QBs are the most blindsided hit players.. Good list though.
Adrian Peterson at 4:50 gave me goosebumps and u see how not one Steeler touched him after that. That screaming let you know the animal was in full effect!!!
i started watching this video and was pleased until i didn't see one Marshawn Lynch highlight, i then had to make sure i watched the whole video to make sure it was in there. I was happy to see you saved the best for last!
This was great, but I particularly missed Jim Brown, and as a Packer fan I remember Jim Taylor who loved knocking heads. That run by Lynch against the Saints, though, is GOAT, IMHO. Thanks.
Quincy Wilson TD reception 2003 WVU/Miami. Catches screen out of the backfield on 3&22 down 6 with minutes left in game, outruns Vince Wilfork and Jonathan Vilma, jukes out Sean Taylor, lowers his shoulder in the open field and flattens Brandon Meriweather then hurdles him, and scores a go-ahead TD.
It's wild that the greatest throw (Eli to Manningham), greatest catch (Odell vs. Cowboys), aaaaaaannnnnnndddddddd greatest run (Earthquake) all happened in my generation. Oh, and a pandemic. What a time to be alive...
The only nfl Jersey my dad owned was Mike alstott I’m 22 and didn’t know how much of a beast he was til last year. Wish I got that jersey before he passed. Sorry to get sad but yea alstott should be sprinkled all over this
I was in the stadium for the Arkansas O'Grady play. That was the loudest I've heard the stadium in the years I've been there. Only bright moment in Chad Morris' tenure
The way Derrick Henry did the jags is like when the big brother keep tossing the little brothers aside when they trying to tackle him and get the ball. He stiff armed them like get you weight up you to small.
He tried to hop to get more power but the rb flipped his arm you can’t really tel cus it looks like he didn’t do anything but when your in the air at that speed the smallest movement will fuck you over if you can’t hold on
It looks like he might have been trying to do some fancy strip. He jumps over trying to reach for the ball hoping he can get a good grasp on it and use the momentum of his body to potentially rip it free. Idk, that's just my 2 cents on it. Definitely made me stop and rewatch it countless times.
These runs are even more spectacular when you remember the defenders are all in shape college/pro athletes that would eat us regular guys for breakfast.
9:36 you know you went beast mode when your WHOLE jersey tear off 🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥

So we’re not gonna talk about how Joe Flacco’s throw on the run at 1:10 was an absolute dime
No
I mean Steve smith was wide open
No that’s not the point kid
ThAtSweatyKiD Noah I get that he didn’t make the right reads, I’m just saying that either way the throw was a dime... kid
It was a strait dime wut y’all talkin bout
Last run by Seahawks was TOTAL TEAM EFFORT!!!! The quarterback running down the field to make a block with his lineman, TOTAL TEAM EFFORT!!!! WOW!!!!
The last one, with Lynch, it was great seeing linemen and the QB going all out to help him score. That’s confidence their guy always has a chance to do something amazing, and they better be involved to the end, just in case.

Thank you! I was wondering if I some how missed him transferring out of OK.
@@evictcalifornia2141 Nah. You missed naught. 😁😁
In Madden 8, there is an Adrien Peterson that is already in the NFL when Oklahoma Adrian Peterson was a rookie
@Louie O. BlevinsMusic pull the other one
UCF dude shows why “Targeting” is a joke. If the Rutgers guy hits him like that he’s ejected immediately.

A ball carrier can get targeting now. Obviously that run was before the new rules.
He definitely did target that poor DB ...... I heard that smack without the sideline mic booms 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We need sideline views too it'll make it that much more satisfying
I wish they had live speed highlights
they dont really have or show sideline views
Nah they don’t bk the game has changed. No Reggie Bush USC??? #BeastMoDe is all about the Monster… Cuttin, choppin, struttin, stopin, truckin, and #Betathrown. Henry is beast.. I told u what ever u do i will love i love this one alot
byrd gang Glad you do! 🙏
That first clip... Just wow, literally everything you wanna see from a running back was on display there!
Lol roll tide
7:40 AJ Dillon run: “Runs threw the tackle of Jaire Alexander” now they’re teammates haha
It was more so C Williams
9:58 "The Rams think they are still playing Tony Dorsett. Earl Campbell is STRONG! And he will put his shoulders into your chest!"
Best compilation Ever. thanks
Thanks for the hard work you put into these videos. I love em
Awesomepossum 87 Thanks for watching!
Part 2 is needed homie
This is sick. Super cool idea
Rocket Mixes Thanks man!
I love the Alabama ones and that Derrick Henry was in there with the panthers
Adrian Peterson at 4:50 gave me goosebumps and u see how not one Steeler touched him after that. That screaming let you know the animal was in full effect!!!
You missed Mike Alstott and the original Beast Mode running back, Jim Brown.
Alstott is fair but it’s probably insanely hard to get decent quality footage of Jim brown
@@benwarner2940 agreed I really wish I could see GOOD footage of him he was a BEAST!
3:01 this was pure madden
You, sir, made the right call with the last clip. "Are you kidding me?!"
Great video idea
I'm glad you saved Marshuan Lynch for the end. He defined the term Beastmode.
2:55 The best run I have ever seen.
8:45 he runs a touchdown and then accidentally perfectly spins the ball on the ground
I love the stuff you put up
00:45 who remembers when ab tried hurdling someone and the ref was like kicked a man
00:45 who remembers when ab tried hurdling someone and the ref was like kicked a man
Am I the only that realizes that Dre Kirkpatrick has a history of getting stiff armed
Chris Conty too
Nah chiseled Adonis makes fun of him in almost every video cause of it
Dre is a bum
i started watching this video and was pleased until i didn't see one Marshawn Lynch highlight, i then had to make sure i watched the whole video to make sure it was in there. I was happy to see you saved the best for last!
This was great, but I particularly missed Jim Brown, and as a Packer fan I remember Jim Taylor who loved knocking heads. That run by Lynch against the Saints, though, is GOAT, IMHO. Thanks.
Ahhhhh Bo Jackson, also known as the cheat code in Tecmo Bowl
Love this stuff
The good ole days when Fournette could run like that 😢 now my dawg be tip toeing
armedwatchman ask joe burrow abt it you bum
armedwatchman yes they did, they both played for lsu.
armedwatchman your point?
armedwatchman ok but Clyde destroyed them... stop riding Alabama’s top
armedwatchman ok but fournetts clips were not about bama
2:54 When your quarterback is actually a running back! Lol
All these runs look like Alvin Kamara + beast mode
Yes
Yes saints rule
Not quite bud
Funny how beast mode got famous because of the Saints
4:52 I screamed when it happened live and I just did again today yrs later... Man we haven't seen anybody run like that since the great Walter Payton
Love the thumbnail...Fournette was a beast at LSU
It's wild that the greatest throw (Eli to Manningham), greatest catch (Odell vs. Cowboys), aaaaaaannnnnnndddddddd greatest run (Earthquake) all happened in my generation. Oh, and a pandemic. What a time to be alive...
Amazing effort & blocking #70 on the David Johnson run 💪🔥
Nothing beats the original beast mode. 24!!
i thought that this was a marshawn lynch comp
Marshawn lynch is just nasty, the true definition of beast mode.
Bettis running over Urlacher. Steve Young run vs vikings I think it was needs to be on here. There was also a Bettis run vs bengals that was great
Gotta put Emmitt Smith in this too! Had some amazing runs like these.
When I was a kid, I flipped open a dictionary and read this:
Beast (noun)
Just Google Mike Alstott.
So why isn’t he on this list?
TedOfNod that was exactly I was going to put here! Aslott is so underrated but man... he is the definition of trucking people
All aboard the A-Train!! One of the last great fullbacks
Bettis was a solid trucker as well!
William Andrews Atlanta Falcons running back from back in the day straight trucking fools.
That Vance McDonald stiff arm was literally the last play of Conte’s career. I’m not even kidding
Good to hear Larry Munson.
The Leonard fournette rum after the hershel walker run when the commentator said “all I can think of is that hershel walker run at Tennessee “
This video crazy, took me 40mins to watch we had to cast it on the flat screen. It was like watching a damn game we jumping and screaming and shit lol
That Derrick Henry run really was like 104yds he was hella deep in the backfield when he got the ball
The way Derrick Henry did the jags is like when the big brother keep tossing the little brothers aside when they trying to tackle him and get the ball. He stiff armed them like get you weight up you to small.
WAIT CNTACO WHERE ALL YOUR SUBS AT WHAT
10:33 why did that man jump
Afraid
He tried to hop to get more power but the rb flipped his arm you can’t really tel cus it looks like he didn’t do anything but when your in the air at that speed the smallest movement will fuck you over if you can’t hold on
It looks like he might have been trying to do some fancy strip. He jumps over trying to reach for the ball hoping he can get a good grasp on it and use the momentum of his body to potentially rip it free. Idk, that's just my 2 cents on it. Definitely made me stop and rewatch it countless times.
adrian peterson runnign people over before and after injury. DAMN
I aint finished the video yet but the last beast mode moment better be lynch lol
7:21 meanest stiff arm ever
isn't a beast mode video without walker running over bates!!!
go dawgs
Marc Edwards of ND in the 90s was a bulldozer. He just didn't get much attention because he was a fullback
6:36 now that quality running take notes
Eric Crouch vs Iowa needs to be on here.
I have met Eric crouch.
I'm not kidding.
Holy that second one was NASTY
@4:45 a.p is the gawd
Breaking news: Raheem Mostert just scored another TD on the Packers
"All day" Adrian, only OU player I've ever rooted for............
leanord fournette in every highlight he was tough in college
Look at that push at 11:23 that knocks down 2 defenders 😂😂😂
2:05 is what Bill O'Brien thinks he is gonna get
2:30 sounds like Jerry Seinfeld
These runs are even more spectacular when you remember the defenders are all in shape college/pro athletes that would eat us regular guys for breakfast.
These are great! But, Greg Jones FSU vs UNC 😬😬. if you haven't seen it, check it out.
O’brady is such a best GO HOGS
Steven Jackson, OG Beast.
@9:40 #58 threw an uppercut and got double cleaned up. 😯😆
Who was waiting for Lynch's beast mode run.
Earl , the most powerful back..
Erich crouch’s run against Iowa should be here
On that Nebraska play when he hit the pile someone came threw ain't took like 3 people off of him.
As a Safety, I have nothing but respect for the "Big Uglies"
They'll were ya ass out. I know from experience lol
On Earl Campbell’s run, was that Jim Brown making the colour commentary?
4:43 Seen this go south for the receiver so many times. AP said fuck that.
1:10 Cinncanatti- Okay defense it's 15-10 and 3rd and 14th in the forth quarter there's no way we're losing.
Steve Smith Sr- Hold my beer 🍺
nfl mania exactly bruh he said Man U cappin
Ap and Marshawn lynch are the real beastmodes
And AJ Dillon run is exactly why the packers made a smart pick this past draft. That kinda speed at a solid 250 is stupid
I learned early on that in football you are nothing without balance.
Earl campbell running his jersey off🤣🤣
No Jim Brown or Larry Csonka though hard to argue about the last two
Its only right we end wit beast mode himself
I think AJ Dillion will be the next beast mode. He’s very underrated
Dk Metcalf is a beast too tbh
Missing the best Peterson run at Oklahoma, when he goes nuts against Tulsa
You should have shown Eric crouch trucking an iowa safety and running for a 50 yard touchdown
Chris Warren vs Texas Tech should be in here
Shucks missed Mike Alstott the real beast mode and also Larry Csonka the original beast mode
As a hogs fan Grady and Boyd is all of our hope😩
Chris Ivory now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time
9:48... y'all heard that too?
Larry Cszonka ??
Jaire Alexander definitely told the packers to draft aj dillion after that play lol
