The more the fish, the more distracted they'll become. It will also help avoid one fish getting bullied a lot. Just make sure you have a large tank and your filter can handle the bio load.
@@jeedelavega2409 yes I have large tank and filter is also good have canister filter top filter and also I have put one sponge filter but the thing is how many fish do I put like I have small fish in size about 1 inch so how many do I put and the tank size is 5 ft and capacity is about 350 gallons
@@swapnilvicky3894 that's a huge tank, why put only 4 african cichlids? Most cichlid keepers du tend to overstock their tank. I have an 80 gallon with 28 fish in it. Mixed haps, mbuna and peacocks, i got the less aggressive mbuna which is yellow lab and acei.

Mbuans and African cichlid tanks need to be stocked well or they fight all day. These fish is not for beginners. Uploaders probably have very good filtration. 10 times more than conventional aquariums.

this is ideal, it spreads aggression. so one does not get targeted and could die. as long as the filtration can keep up. this is ideal.
I'm surprised you don't have issues with extreme agression with no hides for them.
