Was about to get out of my car at Publix market one day and I hear something tap on the window….looked up to see one of these birds outside the drivers window about 4 and a half feet tall! These things are like dinosaurs. A guy in the parking lot came over to help. Ran into the store.
@imsoblu72 Have you ever hunted sandhill cranes? I no longer let my big lab go retrieve wounded ones. The cranes have injured many dogs going for a retrieve.

Tanner says, all I have are embarassment, claws and teeth, that bird has a dagger beak. Those birds eat anything that hasn't eaten them yet.
Tanner doesn't know what to do, but boy my dog sure would have had no problem figuring out what it needed to do here. RIP Emma.

Unless the cat is a lynx which would never cross paths with that crane, or a very hungry alpha bobcat then no.
