I came across this movie a while back and thought, "Wow, I giant kaiju movie I haven't seen? Unpossible! Then I watched it. And worse, I had the volume on...
You poor thing, I know it was horrible. But you will still have nightmares about it later in life. I know I still have them, and it's been quite a long time since I saw it. It definitely ranks up in the top ten movies I've seen in my life. And no don't ask what they are. Because if I try, sometimes I can almost forget I ever saw them. At least until I'm reminded about them. Like This video for instance.
Thaks a lot i had almost forgotten about ever seeing this movie. Now I'm going to need more therapy. But at least I have the comfort of knowing you watched as well. I still can't look at chickens without thinking about this movie sometimes.
YES!!! you must see this movie its so stupid and so much fun..... watch for the atomic chicken chasing a little jeep.... fighter jets the size of ships, when the chicken is throwing around ships in a harbor... please get back to me after you watch it you will love it....
I get it that the "X From Outer Space" is campy & all. But I'm pretty sure it was NOT meant to be taken seriously at all. Now Genocide/War of the Insects was definitely serious & certainly DID INFACT scared me for whatever reasons I can't explain. Sadly, this film & the former were the two films directed Kazui Nihonmatsu. Say what you will about the monster but that is ONE HIGH QUALITY costume.
I'm making videos of the other three flicks on the Criterion Eclipse 37 box. X definitely is the ugly duckling of the bunch, but it's so much fun. I've never seen GENOCIDE before so am saving that for last. SKELETON is very good, and GOKE reminds me a little of my favorite 60s monster flick--MATANGO/ATTACK OF THE MUSHROOM PEOPLE.
Researching old movies so to better understand the trends/fads expressed in modern movies. This movie has all the indications of being an influence for the lesbian space witch trip we now have. ....yeah, a long reach, and no other scrap of sanity seems to squish.

No, not you. When videos don't perform I'll either delete them and rejigger them, or just try again months later. In the case of GOD I'm redoing the whole thing, it just misses the mark. It's a unique movie and I need to try harder to describe its unique flavor.

Isn't the music the worst????

@@JohnInTheShelter 😅😂🤣 You should be. At least I know you listened to that awful music as well. 😁

You WILL heal. Just eat a lot of friend chicken, and watch it a few more times, you'll build up a tolerance.
The Hans Zimmer drone is real. Another bonkers film -- thanks.
It's like the guy just made a ten-second loop of one note and thought, "I'm a genius!"
I just gotta see this movie! As much as I grew up a sci-fi fan with my favorite show being The Outer Limits, this looks so campy it's a must watch.

It's the La La Land of giant chicken movies. (Outer Limits is one of my favorite shows. Only two seasons but unique.)
They really need to share the secret of that Jeep's speed. Freakin thing could stay ahead of a thing the size of a building running after it.
Movies based on super-science are always mystifying. Still trying to get to Venus after seen "Queen of Outer Space". Space chicks.
I'm not leaving the planet after seeing X. I prefer my chickens fried, not the size of a building.

I couldn't bring myself to be even mildly interested in Orange is the New Acolyte or whatever the fuq it's called.

Ah, you get what I'm doing! I go in cycles, but love SCARY b&w flicks.
