I mean yes but the doll also has those pink arms on it which are part of a squid not an octopus so.....adding 4 new arms won’t change much in the way of realism anyway since the original makers already messed it up with the squid arms 😑

@@dawns1978 why not both? They’re both so different. I think the Angelina Jolie version would give her so much more opportunity to get creative making realistic wings and horns. Also she has the perfect face for a monster high repaint.

Odds are Mariana would only make one doll. I would prefer to see the iconic version of Maleficent recreated. I imagine her regal face tucked into her renaissance style headpiece. Her statuesque body in an exquisitely detailed gown befitting the Mistress Of All Evil. The cartoon version of Maleficent had no need of cheap looking wings- she flew on the winds of hell and she didn’t have horns it was a headpiece- her dragon self had horns. Plus I think it would be awesome to have her outfit transform her into the dragon. IMO the live action outfit looks more like a stylized hefty bag than the gorgeous Eyvind Earle designs of the cartoon. Added bonus if she could make Diablo too!
I think your next glow in the dark doll should be very dark skinned. I think it will be a nice contrast in the light and the dark. Maybe a glowing celestial unicorn centaur.

Aside from the fact that you're a fabulous artist, can we all just take a moment to wildly appreciate how Mattel made such individual face molds with realistic facial features of many ethnicities?
Things have come a long way since I was a kid in the 70s and every Barbie looked the same: blonde, blonde, blonde and completely unrealistic. Thank God they have changed!

You are so talented, I am in awe. I think she had 4 tentacles because adding her 4 arms made 8 extremities.
wow, her face is quite different this time. I can´t put my finger on what exactly is different, but it was something with the way you were layering the colours. The face looks like a really different personality today, very beautiful.
I think the form of the head of this doll in general is not as round as the normal monster high dolls.... it looks like the cheekbones are a bit different too....

- Sailor Moon (and the Sailor Soldiers/villains)
- The Spice Girls (90s nostalgia)
- Cleopatra; I’ve seen many repaints of her, but would love to see her in your style!

You could try a Cyberpunk/cyborg type of doll repaint if you're still looking for ideas. Would love to see you do a doll with a mohawk type of hairstyle. Or like a "badass" looking doll

@@SupportMensMentalHealth thank you so much for relating to my life. I had a surgery that went wrong, very wrong, and the pain levels from that on top of my everyday chronic stuff has just been atrocious. Pain meds and bed seems to be out best option. I hope you're doing well.

I fell asleep while listening to that myth once and dreamed I was there. I'd love to see her take on it! My dream version was quite ridiculous and still makes me laugh!
I Love the face mold in this doll! I think it would be really neat to make a dark sister for her. How she's all light and glowing. A darker sister would be so cool!

The 4 arms immediately made me think of a Shiva or a Ganesha doll. I think they would be magical if you made them, especially Ganesha's elephanthead!

I love the little octopus! I have to say, your dolls are the best, you go above and beyond for all of your dolls. It's obvious that you put your heart and soul into your dolls and I love that you have a very high standard of how your doll should look! No one else compares to your work. I've tried watching other doll restorers and they just don't do as good of a job as you!

I think if you made the other octopus doll her twin and she could be an iridescent dark themed doll to match/contrast this one. Kind of like yin and yang siblings.
You should totally make that last one into a vampire squid! They're so cool looking, you would totally nail it!
When your doll head was all taped up for the paint/ face creation, she reminded me of Nefertiti. I love this Octomaid.
Her makeup look today matching perfectly with the color pallet of her before the glow up 💁✨ looking absolutely amazing and gorgeous as aways!!!! Can't wait to see the end result!
Somehow my first impression of the title in the thumbnail saying ‘octo-maid’ I thought she was going to be wearing a maid dress and carrying a feather duster. I didn’t quite put it together right away, ha ha. That might be a fun idea for another one though, underwater housekeeping. She looks amazing. Great work.

I love it!!!! But I think that an octopus has 8 tentacles, and the doll had 4 arms and 4 tentacles, since she’s a octomaid I think the arms were a way to make the octopus tentacles translate to human form. But I love it anyways hahah
She also had 2 extra tentacles on the bottom half, making a grand total of 14 arms
I’m obsessed with this doll! I love how, when it’s dark, the glowing hair contrasts with the skin, giving her torso, head and arms the illusion of being in silhouette. I didn’t realize how much of a struggle it is to work with glow in the dark paints but you really pulled it off!
I know you've already made three Billie Eilish dolls, but it'd be amazing to see a doll of her with her new look! 🤩😍

Please do a monster series. For those who know "Everyday Life with Monster Girls" or Monster Musume for short, I really wanna see the monster girls come to life in your style. Like Lamias, Centaurs, Harpies and my favorite Arachne. You can add your Angler fish Mermaid and Octomaid in the list. I hope this will give you content ideas.

Oh, the little dots, especially on the octopus, look like a big version of the color-filled cells that octopi use to camouflage themselves! Delightful, and so pretty!
Id like to see more videos of whatever you find quick and easy to film and edit. A drawing you made. A painting. Doll designs. 3D printing tips. It doesn’t have to be elaborate. I think people will agree with me, seeing you continue to post over the years makes us happy. I’d love to see what you’ve learned with your iPad and resin printer. Maybe side things you’re building for a doll, a lead up to the doll. Reactions to other doll repainters or artists. Things like that, that are less time consuming than the doll repaints in between the repaints.
You don't have to mix the glow in the dark medium with acrylic colors, just paint the surface with the opaque color and glaze it with the medium afterward. It's almost clear in the normal light so it shouldn't change the color much.
When I saw octomaid I thought it was gonna be an octopus maid and it got me intrigued 😂
