I swear ark has some of the best songs ever made for a video game. Don't get me wrong. I feel as though a lot of their songs were made with little passion and little effort. But the ones in aberration, extinction and some other ones blow any other video game out of the water when it comes to music.

For all this game’s faults, the one thing you can’t tell me is bad is the soundtrack. These are just some of the best pieces of music I’ve ever heard. On the same level as some high budget movies.
I agree and ESPECIALLY Aberration’s music. The Surface theme, Rockwell’s theme, the ascension theme, and the title screen theme. It all sounds so beautiful and atmospheric, which is what the ARK truly is. Yet it’s soo eerie and foreign at the same time and gives you a sense that there is more to this place and you shouldn’t be here, which is exactly how you should feel going deeper into the dark, dangerous, and mysterious depths. The music fits it so perfectly. People can say what they want about not liking the ARK because of no fliers, but that made it a ton more immersive.
Well just have to wait until Genesis Part 2 when we have to face Rockwell once and for all. Then we’ll know who has better music. King Titan or Genesis 2 Rockwell.

There is the question of whether Mei was just exaggerating, or maybe there were some weird perspective things going on from her viewpoint, but if the King Titan was as big as an *actual mountain* (like, a real Earth mountain, not an Island mountain)... wow.

if your trying to find its Hight remember the king titan is in a hunched position most of the time. on another channel i calculated the height of a fictional character animated and drawn by someone by the speed someone was traveling at him but we cant determine anything by that as the ice titan is slow in game but is said to go very fast in this example we would need a picture of the ice titan and king titan side by side if that was the case it would be 3x taller but one problem is that in one of the explorer notes it is said to be taller than the mountains.if i made a mistake somewhere please correct me

It took me like,36 days of playing ark to get a stone base and a good level anky,two high level stegosauruses,that I have bred I just realised how fucked I am when I face this god.
I’m like 100+ days in and I made a simple metal base. Have 2 argentavis, 4 allosaurus, a Rex, a Griffin, a fleet of brontosaurus for eggs, primitive riot gear, and I’m still nowhere near able to fight broodmother. This behemoth is for the super experienced players

In the hologram that’s freaking 540 meters tall. Holy crap, I can’t imagine how big it’d actually be in the lore if it’s truly larger. But I’d say that its hologram is a good frame of reference for its lorewise size

The most epic final showdown theme. Especially when you bring all the titans, and the MegaMek to destroy the central pillar of the corruption. The King of Shadows, the King of Death. The King Titan.
And earth is not the only planet that has been trough this crap, cause the Meteor that hit earth wasnt a real meteor it was just Corruption with that spread and hit many other planets in the universe with the King titan joining the corruption on Its journey to infect planets

This theme is basically a pumped up version of other themes in ark. You can hear some tracks having similarities to this like corrupted mc theme. Edit: I forgot to tell that this is the most epic theme in a whole game
Perhaps the toughest boss I've ever fought in ark. I had to bring all my strongest dinos, even all the breeding pairs. There were a few losses I had in terms of dinos, but the deaths were reduced because I had all the other titans tamed and brought to the arena (Ice, Forest and Desert Titan combined)

Just finished a DnD campaign with the end boss being the King Titan itself, with element being the root cause of magic itself. It took six sessions to bring down the beast and a near TPK, but the world was liberated from the growing corruption and it's Avatar. What price will the world pay? That, is a story for another day.
The way they made the theme for the King Titan in Extinction makes it sound like its the very final boss fight andArk would end there. Don't get me wrong, Coker's themes in Genesis Parts 1 and 2 are also as great, but not as epic as this.
Heck, in a way, the King Titan truly is the final boss. In the sense that it's the final threat for Earth. Rockwell in Genesis one and two never truly threatened the Earth in the way that the King Titan did. He even had to run away from the Earth, since the Arks would've purified him if he stayed, and plotted to conquer other planets. In my personal perspective, both the King Titan and Rockwell are both the final threat. It just so happens we kill the Titan before Edmund, but that doesn't detract how dangerous the Titan was.
@@NotASpyPootis Absolutely, I don’t dispute that at all. 👌 Both endings give closure in very special ways. The King Titan’s death signifies the purpose of the Arks being fulfilled. And Helena herself can now Rest In Peace should she choose to. Edmunds death, as you said, is yet another piece of closure for Helena, although I wish she actually appeared instead of just HLN-A. And this ending gives way to Ark 2.
Most creatures/monsters etc. Are Savage, and and will usually bite and tear into you with claws. King Titan. He's too good to waste time with that. He'll just drop a meteor on your head.

Yeah all of ARK's soundtrack is like that, its a theme for the themes. Makes each score recognizable to ARK, with each dlc and boss fight taking its own twist on the original score.

If the King Titan had it's canonical size, that would actually be accurate, because the King Titan is in the range of a bit over 3,600 feet tall (or slightly over 1.1 Kilometers if you use the Metric System.) so... yeah, the frightening thing is Giga's and Carcha's are in scale comparison to the King Titan the size of Compy's to the Survivor, when in lore... they'd be about 4x smaller since someone actually did a scale comparison using the in game tracking system to determine the height of the King Titan in game around 1,000 feet tall or 350 meters tall.

Both endings give closure in very special ways. The King Titan’s death signifies the purpose of the Arks being fulfilled. And Helena herself can now Rest In Peace should she choose to.
Edmunds death, as you said, is yet another piece of closure for Helena, although I wish she actually appeared instead of just HLN-A. And this ending gives way to Ark 2.
In my opinion, the king titan is the true final boss of ark.
Most creatures/monsters etc. Are Savage, and and will usually bite and tear into you with claws.
King Titan. He's too good to waste time with that. He'll just drop a meteor on your head.

Yeah all of ARK's soundtrack is like that, its a theme for the themes. Makes each score recognizable to ARK, with each dlc and boss fight taking its own twist on the original score.

If the King Titan had it's canonical size, that would actually be accurate, because the King Titan is in the range of a bit over 3,600 feet tall (or slightly over 1.1 Kilometers if you use the Metric System.) so... yeah, the frightening thing is Giga's and Carcha's are in scale comparison to the King Titan the size of Compy's to the Survivor, when in lore... they'd be about 4x smaller since someone actually did a scale comparison using the in game tracking system to determine the height of the King Titan in game around 1,000 feet tall or 350 meters tall.

@@rockwell5960 You kill the king titan, not defeat him, this is true because when you finally strike him down, he falls, along will all corruption, of course it doesn't fit the game logic because extinction is the same as it was before, but that's just the game, the king titan is the manifestation of death, as well as element, the king titan is made out of element, shown by its purple blood, and controls it, once you strike him down, he's dead, as well as all the element as he controls it, it was also confirmed there is 1 king titan, since the king titan isn't controlled by the arks it can't be respawned unlike any other bosses, in lore, once you kill him, you kill him for good.
The king titan controls element, but element doesn't save him from dying, element has nothing to do with him respawning and such
