I love thrifting and yardsale shopping for my dollhouse. Like you - repurposing beads, jewelry, and toys can be great dollhouse fun! I also find many things in the crafts area - fabric, trims, buttons, snaps, ribbons, etc. I rarely ever find actual dollhouse furniture itself, but have made furniture from found Jenga games, wooden blocks, ring boxes, etc and used Christmas ornaments, monopoly game pieces and other games parts for my dollhouses too. It’s all very reminiscent of my first childhood cardboard box dollhouse where I made all the furniture from found and so carded objects - such joy! Right now, in one of my dollhouses, I’m making a kitchen floor using old vintage playing cards! The backs have a beautiful worn, red and white pattern - perfect for the look I’m creating overall! Also, those red plastic measuring spoons in your video - I have bought those and cut off the “bowl ends” - to make nesting serving bowls! The bag you purchased with the gold colored plastic items - you’re right - they were parts of cake decorating. Some of the pieces were used as columns between wedding cake tiers. I have some of those columns in white and have used them as plant stands and garden decor. I bought some plastic sewing bobbins last week and have turned them into cake stands for the bakery I’m making. Thanks for the thrift and consignment trips! You found some fun things! Kathleen
