For a lot of reasons he is one of my hero’s! He cared for others, he took a negative circumstance and made it positive, seeing the blessings God intended through the adversities ❤️
I do wish there was more layout in the Bible for a 7yr prep plan though 🤔 how do you store up that much provision? 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Excellent talk. Thank you for it. I’ve been struggling over the years to reconcile verses on faith and those on wisdom. This has really helped me.

Yes, the debacle in Texas is a great example of what to be prepared. We were prepared when the winter storm hit. But the electricity shut-down was a result of corruption of power. It was preventable, and so many people lost so much that couldn’t afford to lose. It was so aggravating. We wanted to help people but we could get out and drive because Texas doesn’t have sufficient equipment to sand the roads.

Depends what you mean by prepping?! Prepping your body? No. Or prepping your soul? Yes 🙌🏻 I prefer to prep for the soon return of Jesus Christ.

Sharing what you have stored for emergency is a good thing, but what do Christians do when marauders with guns come for you and your family?

Have bigger guns and more ammo!!! It is our responsibility to defend our families and the weak.

Of course, the people who think faith is at odds with good works would say “just have faith” - implying that my preparedness in what Yah has promised would come is somehow being faithless.
For those who would say such a thing, might I remind you of that pesky James 2 passage:
“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?
But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”-and he was called a friend of God. You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.”
    ‭‭James‬ ‭2:14, 18, 20-24‬ ‭ESV‬‬
    -----
Ah! Mister, mister! Please stop! We can’t handle James without feeling triggered.
Or how about that pesky Hebrews 11 passage:
“For by it the people of old received their commendation.
By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear CONSTRUCTED AN ARK FOR THE SAVING OF HIS HOUSEHOLD. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:2, 7‬ ‭ESV‬‬
    -----
Noah was the first prepper, folks. And guess what? You are the generation to see the second judgment. Best that you build the ark made of repentance and obedience to all of Yah’s Torah. Once you’ve become settled on the foundation of obedience to Messiah, THEN you can start strategizing on how you will avoid the danger ahead and instead, you can be blessed above all nations and be a light to them in a very dark time. Moreover, you can help others who couldn’t help themselves - further advancing the glory of Yah.
And of course, for those who think “doing things” is faithlessness, may Yah find it in Himself to give you mercy on that Great Day of Judgment.
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever DOES NOT OBEY the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭3:36‬ ‭ESV‬‬
    -----
“The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22:3‬ ‭ESV‬‬
