At this point my money is basically making me a pretty good yearly salary. When I go to sleep at night I know my money is making decent money with the help of my FA

In a competition for capacity or alocation, I don’t see why anyone would allocate sales to X or Tesla when AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle and Apple are demanding supply. Hyperscalers are much better customers. It has been a decade since Elon said "screw Nvidia! We will design our own!”.

Elon said in the 20teens he was going to dominate AI with "Dojo”. Five years later he showed an actual computing unit -no word if it actually worked. Then finally in late 2023 he anounced his entry in the AI arms race…on Nvidia! The processors in tesla cars were also going to be moved to a proprietary Tesla design -that never happened. Elon has no clue how long it takes to set up such a large datacenter. I have no doubt that Oracle will build far more capacity sooner.

What I think is most interesting about Elon vs everyone else is they are all working on essentially personal assistance that in many ways do menial tasks like answering trivia questions, writing reports, explaining stuff, etc.. What Elon has done and is doing with Tesla Full Self Driving, the Tesla Optimus robot, Neural Link, and other projects is he's making world changing products with his that can power cars and robots and people. It just feels like he's got a much bigger incentive and much bigger plans for AI than the others. They're looking to grab the masses of average users for money while he's looking to change the world.
