Hi Raif...it's been so long since I have said hello! It's good to see you again. A lot has happened for me - my mom died last holiday season - I had taken care of her for many years. I got Covid and was sick for a time. But...I won't bore you with all of that. The good news is that I have gained a friend who has become very, very dear to me. I thank God for him all the time. We have the most amazing conversations, and I don't feel so alone. i wish everyone could have someone like that in their life. Thanks for all you do to help others.
Hi my friend!! It's good to hear from you ❤ I'm so sorry to hear about your mom! She was very fortunate to have a son like you taking care of her all that time. I recently had COVID as well back in August and felt the strong effects of long COVID for a good 10 weeks. It was quite the struggle but I"m glad to be feeling back to my normal self mostly. Now that I'm back I'm pushing for more content again so I hope we can connect more in the coming months! I'm so SO happy to hear about your friend; having that kind of connection is so powerful and I hope it propels you into a much more vibrant, happy sense of self moving forward
By chance, my partner and I are both positive. I'm also in remission from cancer. I'm very grateful to have effective medication available today. My partner is currently out of the country for the next few months and I miss him terribly. I thought I would always be single because of hiv but there are ppl out there with an open mind who are also educated on hiv.
Hai.. I just want to know if your partner is out of country for few months and he’s HIV+, how can he manage to get the medicine? Because as far as I know, the medicine can only be taken every month. Hi Raif, This was a wonderful conversation with your guest Adam. I would like see a cure not just treatment. It didn't have much knowledge about it at the time. I was tested regularly when I was younger and was terrified at the time as I didn't know much about it at the time and coming out at that time in anyway was difficult. Alot has changed in some ways over the last say 20 to 30 years and certainly in the last 40 years. ❤️

I remember the time when the Drs waited until your immune system was depleted to nearly beyond repair until they started you on ARV. Luckily I went to one of the top Hospitals in the country and they didnt use that treatment regime.

Thanks for sharing this. Love this interview..... I've been living with HIV now just over 22 years and the thought of a possible cure to me actually... honestly I don't know how i feel about that any more.... is that weird? HIV was what forced me to grow up and be human again... start taking care of myself, eat well. exercise... go back to university etc.... so from that perspective it is kind of a positive (no pun intended) part of me... but it would be awesome not to have to take the meds and of course what it would mean for others of course would be amazing..
