Nothing you could have done. Against 4-6 you were always going to lose even if you had a roof. Perhaps AIT externals with hidden turret when next you build in clan territory. Great video btw way really enjoyed it.
Probably not. I did just wiped in this base as well. I had modified it a bit though. Instead of thr wooden gate where you placed, I did honeycomb that flat section. Also, did 2 external TCs with gatehouse. They offlined direct to TC, but I had most loot in roof bedroom and all my sulfur and GP was in the externals. Lol. That center roof above the main bunker I had a large planter so they probably assumed I was super poor.
I think it depends who you comparing him to and what style of rust we comparing with because if you thinking sit back chill vibes the willjum takes the cake ngl

Cali, I'd like to recommend a base build that my group and I have been using for ages called "the love shack" ...it is incredibly OP and customizable, and the perfect solo build. I think you'd enjoy it.
I found with the Hermit the early game, that first softside door triangle in the bunker is really solid for your first set of furnace.. You just dont close the honeycomb until you get the second floor up which should still be early enough to prevent anyone from booming through your walls to the bunker, because it looks like honeycomb still.

You asked some time ago for improvement ideas and i think you need to get out more in rust, roam the lands more, run different monuments which i know is a lot to ask because i play like a hermit myself. Other then that, do some fun things like draw on a sign or take care of a little farm while also going out.
I knew the design as soon as i saw you start the two half walls. Great Dust design although I found the transition from the starter to the bunker a bit awkward. Felt really nervous about being raided cheaply for quite a while as i expanded.
Oh also you can leave the ladder in the bunker and still seal it. i perfer some of his other designs though and freestyled my roof so had a small heli garage and shooting floor option
Cali you should make a China wall around the big swamp tree and living it for a wipe i did last wipe and got raided 4 times make the base in 2-3 parts ty for amazing videos

If this were on a month long server I would restart in a quieter position, mine up sulpher, crude oil and tech constantly. Then once I have enough C4, set a frequency and wait for them to leave. Then place all around the base of there main (usually it's some form of a tower) then when they get back ask if they wish to ensue peace or it will be to there destruction. Usually this means an AK shot to the head but I spawn in not to far and from a close enough covered position I then use the remote trigger setting everything off at once which pretty much calls everyone in a few blocks radius and they lose everything 😂..... Ah it's been a while since I have done that.
i too have been raided over a single ak kit lol. if i know its a zerg member i immediately go to global, apologize, and tell them their kit is still there now ahahaha
see what you should do instead is take the ak, despawn it in some water and TC grief the whole clan/be as annoying as possible, stop bowing down to clans my fellow solos
It wasn’t cozy? I don’t watch uncozy videos. Actually that’s a good idea for a wipe, make the least cozy base possible. I want to see the antithesis of cozy. I guess something modernist/minimal with high ceilings and clean like one of those Swiss houses in the mountains. One entire 4x4 face needs to be shop windows probably.
That's one of those decisions you wish you could take back. There was only one way that ended for you if you didnt fight them all. Or, if you didnt keep changing your name...(something i recommend doing as a solo player). If you know youre getting tailed by dudes who were going to raid, aftrer you steal their boom...dont bring them back to your base lol1

Recycle the hazmat suits for cloth. You had a bunch, never used them all, 2 tarp = 50 cloth each. Early very easy cloth.
The most suprising thing about the final raid was cali being suprised that a 4 man would raid a solo over one AK. im not suprised.
I think you missed one of the new backpacks at @19:43. They basically double your inv. space. Check them out. For a solo it is gamechanging.

I've used the base before in a wipe only problem I have with it it's kinda sketchy to use it when u dont get some metal doors on and stone it up
