    As value added feature, we built a chatbot that can answer all questions on Large format machine issues. Ask it anything about the subject. It knows. Trust me. By the way, you can order parts in the app as well. Tell us your experience with it. We can make it even better. mediafiles.botpress.cloud/87b4fb76-8490-45bd-a846-7d362593cbc4/webchat/bot.html

    Thank you for the very educative content you put out here. Black ink is typically the least consumed ink in large-format printing (different situation with paper print). Meaning there really no economising it to save time

    If its dirty ink in waste tank. Then you may kill the print head or clog it. Because sometimes we use cleaner solvent to clean it and this get poured into the waste tank.

    • @richwords1
      @richwords1  ปีที่แล้ว

      To start with. Don't ever use solvent to clean your machine. Not necessary. That's apart from the fact that you may damage the head if you don't know what you're doing.
      Secondly. It's not dirty ink as you suppose.
      The base material of your Ink is solvent mixed with pigments and resin.
      The inks circled around into the waste container contains the same component. So I don't see how the machine is intelligent enough to know what's poured in it.
      But then, as always You can choose to not do it.

      Solvent (harsh) based ink like SK4. is different from Eco-Solvent ink you use on XP600 inks

    You ought to show the print output of the two inks from. machine.
    Black is different from Process Black.
    What happens when you intens to print a GREY colour?
    an XP 600 is not Printing a true colour representation of most images because of the extras on Cyan. and Magenta.
    How much more if you change Black to Process Black.

    • @Xpertshow
      @Xpertshow ปีที่แล้ว

      How do you achieve.
      10% Black if you use the combined inks as Black?

    • @richwords1
      @richwords1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Two things. These are things I do in my office. I do not expect you to not try them.
      Secondly. Large format printing is not offset printing. Remember to use the proper terms. They don't apply here.
      If you have questions relating to experiments and experience based on this video. I'll be eager to see them.

    • @Xpertshow
      @Xpertshow ปีที่แล้ว

      Terms in Offset and Large Format are not far from each other.
      Black is a weak colour especially on Large Format. That's why we add CMY. to our. K in other to get a solid black.
      My question is after you have experimented this hack. Do you get quality picture output? Not just test but on images.
      Although, each time I dispose the waste ink I always tell people around me that I am throwing away N8, 000 and I always hope we can use it as Black someday.

    • @richwords1
      @richwords1  ปีที่แล้ว

      So you are saying this having not tried it.? But I'm telling you that it's what I use in my office.
      Why not let's discuss based on what you have tried. I don't know if you get my point.
      Give it a try and see. I've used it for years now. And it gives excellent results 90% of the time. Your theories need to be proven. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
      If we start trading theories now. We'll run into endless loops of back and forths that may or may not contribute to much knowledge.
      Let me know if you get my point.

      It should not affect the cleaning solvent, but printing tests should be carried out with this "experimental ink" to see the real results 😁 very interisting

    • @felipecampos3188
      @felipecampos3188 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean, to clean heads we can introduce solvent through the nozzles, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem for the head, but for the paper it could perhaps be too much solvent 🤔

    If you use 100% of each CMY, you may get black, but it's not going to be 100% black and the result comes off-black. That's how those white toner printers work. Mixing CMY to make black. As I have white tonner printer, it has no black tonner, the black is not really black when after printing. You never get a pure black. Plus, if you use 3 colours 100% to make black and save on black ink, you actually wasting more CMY ink.

    • @richwords1
      @richwords1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What if you mix CMYK. What kind of black would you get.?
      That's the actual topic. The video is not just CMY. It's CMYK.
      watch it again.

    • @RahimiBashir
      @RahimiBashir 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As I understood you basically saying that you can save on K, because when CMY get mixed, the result is black. As I'm using CMYW printer, when I print a black artwork with black text (100% black text), it never print real black, but when I print the same artwork with my other laser printer, the black comes reach black. @@richwords1
