I tried this method. It took me 3 hours to wash condition detangling and blow dry and I must say this was the easiest it has ever been!!! I did medium sized sections and my roots and edges are straight. I also used a heat protectant.
I'm glad more and more beauticians are doing away for the blow dry comb. Paddle & Round brush is truly where it's at. Gives so much body and much healthier.
So true! So glad you have such a good blow dry technique. I used to use the blow dry comb on my own hair out of laziness and then over time, I noticed my ends were thin! I gave up the blow dry comb, best decision!
Her hair is so thick long and pretty I like your technique on blow drying her hair u took your time and didn't rush U are a Awesome stylist Thanks for The Video
So I used this technique on myself today and I’ve never done such a good job! My hair is usually still hard to run a comb through, part, etc after I blow dry. Plus i would have a bunch of broken ends but not anymore ! Thanks sooooo much
The Dominicans use a small/medium round brush with different sized bristles all around it that will have your hair bone straight simply by only blow drying and their blow dryers are so hot (may be a big difference) They roll and roll and roll-non stop. That’s the only thing I would change is the brush type and smaller sections for straighter results, but Ofcourse it would take longer. And doing the seran wrap method afterwards for 15-20 mins. This was a great demonstration and the clients’ hair looks really healthy and nourished.
U make it look so easy...This will take me bout 1 or so cuz I don't like the feeling of hair in my hand and my daughter hair is thicker than this. Never been good at doing hair
I tried this technique today and wow what a difference, soooooo much straighter than my normal method. Thank you for sharing this!! I will ALWAYS do it this way now!!
Only the health of this hair is a goal 🤗🤗🥰🥰😘 I'm working on getting my hair this healthy after mini big chop from heart damage. Inches will come later 💪💪💪
I wanna give myself a blow out and wear a claw clip like the Whyte girls 🥺. You did so well on this and really spilled the secrets. Gonna try this weekend!
@@genevaxo “Some” black American stylists seem to not be well versed in different techniques as well. I was telling one recently about me have damage from wearing too many buns. It’s referred to as tension damage (you can google it). She claimed that’s not a thing. I thanked her and didn’t book the appointment. I think it’s just important to get a stylist that is well educated about all hair types and techniques from around the world no matter her/his heritage.
MY WRIST COULD NEVER but I am going to try! I want to start doing my mini twists and braids on blown out hair as well as easier to see what needs to be trimmed
Her hair is so healthy! Nice. Coffee and lots of pop so dehydrating and robs body of iron and contributes to dehydrated hair and thus breakage. I know this and gotta do as needed
u guys are so dumb you cant do it without a flat iron it cant happen it just cant brushing and blowdrying doesnt suddenly change hair texture believe me
This is so smooth and beautiful! Her hair looks like it’s trained and she has medium porosity. I seem to have a problem controlling the blow dry process with clients who have dry and tangly knotty hair. No matter how much I detangle, it seems to still tangle up and dry out too fast. How can I fix this?
I will try this method, cuz I have a 5-1 hair dryer that includes that paddle brush & 2 round brushes. Update: when I used the paddle & big round hair dryer brush, it made my puff become bigger. Plus, I did the heat setting on low The Whole entire time. And made my own diy hair serum & heat protectant spray
I always wish I had it as easy as those with looser curls when blow drying like the girl in this vid. I struggle with my type 4b hair and excess heat and effort so I lose hair.
Hey. Thanks for this. I just bought a paddle brush with the cushion backing (like you have). But I also saw one w/o the cushion. Do you know what the difference would be with the end-result for blow drying?
Thank you so much I am currently got a job to be a work at a hair salon which is my dream! But I have a question do you need to use heat protector to do just a blow out? Hope you answer ❤️😌
This is the most beautiful blow out I've seen on TH-cam! And so easy to follow along. I'm gonna try the technique on my bushy hair. @DreamChasinHair What setting do you have the dryer on?
Is there any product on her hair? Do you need that exact blow dryer or can you achieve that sleekness with any blow dryer- just the attachment needed? I’m natural and so is my daughter and I had the hardest time getting her hair straight with just the dryer. Help!
I"m not sure why this video was sooooo relaxing to me but it was.... not to mention PERFECT!!

ItsRaeRae hey are you talking about the comb attachment or the blow dryers that are a brush. Looking into buying so wanna know what to avoid
Mtsad they are probably talking about the attachment combs
The way my wrist is setup 😩
I'm crying😂😭😂
Seriously tho
A denman brush with 9 rows gets it even straighter and is easier to hold #protip
When I blowout my hair it just becomes a bigger puff
that used to be the case for me until i used a denman brush for my blow outs

You don't even need to flat iron that straight. The straightness from the blow out is pretty good for me
New Naturel I agree. Maybe put some jumbo rollers for a curl then wrap it for some body
ummm flat ironing is the only way lmao you cant straighten it with some damn brush and a blow dryer thats not normal
Nah

See, but when I asked 2 different black hairstylists about blowdrying my hair this way, they said "that's only for white girls". Smh
Dominicans do it daily. Dominican Blowouts are the best. White ppl are oblivious to black/Afro Latino culture.
