Qi Ji definitely gets his good looks from his beautiful momma and his acrobatic skills and love of water 💦 from his handsome papa. It’s so much fun to get to share time with all of them. Qi Ji was so chilled and adorable, who can resist that sweet face. He was taking things at a slow pace today. Tian Tian relished his vacation in room 2, making full use of all the facilities - he and QJ love their dips in the pool! Another wonderful treat for us , thank you DoxieMom
Sandy, I did ... and had tremendous guilt that I wasn't doing videos, I felt I let our community down. But life got challenging. It's a bit better now, so hope I can do my videos during their remaining months in the US.
Papa Tian was a scream in this panda family movie. It was like experiencing the yard and room where his son, our Qi Ji, made joy turned up to the max his love for life & all the magic that comes with it. Like father like son, both showmen, showoffs, furry delights and glutton for good times. That’s how you make happiness - father and son seemed to tell and show us.
Pamela you are right on the money!!!! The father and son interaction is something we don't see on a regular basis, and it was so cool to see the boys do their thing. What a hoot! Roberta
Goofy boy. I saw another video last week with sound taken by someone who was at the zoo, and QiJi barked at Papa Tian while at the howdy window. Most amusing, although I'm not sure what Papa thought of it. Wonderful seeing the whole family, thank you DoxieMom 😊!
@DoxieMom19 yes, interesting to see both. A few nights ago, he seemed quite agitated, making all kinds of screeching sounds. One comment was that he was missing mom, who knows. He seems ok to me most of the time I see him. Again, many thanks to you for your videos. You got me thru lockdown!
Perhaps some day, but right now it might cause them stress. It'll be hard for most to hear, but after awhile they will not recognize each other as mother and son.

Do you think the keepers will ever let Mei and QiJi see each other through the howdy window or would that cause them stress instead of comfort?
