Mirror it and put it on the inside next time. It keeps it looking fresh and out of the elements. Ive been doing multiunit management for a few years and the little things add up. My waste and cogs file is insane, I pull it up everyday to guarantee i have enough money to pay for rent, hours, and any immediate expenses. If my vendors get mad at me for sending a payment a few days late 🤷🏻♀️ they should stop sending out of temp food, I’ll be more inclined to put it on the immediate expenses list. Also become besties with the county and state employees you interact with most. Go in instead of calling, bring a dunkin gift card with enough for a box of munchkins and a box of joe, put a note “thank you everyone for all your hard work, hope you enjoy”. You will never have a problem again. What would-be a nastygram, becomes a polite phone call where you get all the industry news. Frfr best way to go about it, no stress just some pleasant chats and buying the office donuts

Shes already selling in actual stores so she could just open up her own eventually. “The Other People” do it and have done it for years thats why they are ahead🤷🏾♀️

It’s a walk-in and the insurance is different, but if she can do that, and that would be nice for her and her customers
Typical they are printed in reverse and put on the inside of the door to protect the material from the elements and from people not picking at the letters when your not open, also you did a good job centering it, looks great
Yeah but she’d have to leave out the word Sunday on the door too, put some painters tape for orientation, cut the word and the y so there’s not to much space and put some painters tape to stick them together than put the new created word centered with the other words to make it seamless 😅👍🏻
Side note all you had to do was just reprint your design with only the letter you needed on the actions menu you go all the way over to the right and it says contour and then you pick the pieces you don't need and they go away and you only print what you need
Sign shop owner here! With decals on glass, clean the surface with 70% alcohol to remove any grease or previous cleaner films! (Things like windex has ammonia and will destroy your adhesive) Then put a couple little pieces of tape at the top of your decal with the backing still on, measure and level and then you can put a full strip of tape along the top, lift it up and slowly pull the backing and squeegee the transfer down!

It looks great! The only thing I would mention is with the thinner elements of your design, and it being on the outside of your door, you might have some issues with it coming off. If you do, and your door isn’t heavily tinted, you could probably get away with mirroring the design and applying it to the inside of your door.
I hear you, I tried to do an acrylic menu for a client and I had to redo it four times, took me about eight hours in total, because of the wedding. The small items were the hardest ❤

Next time use the wet method.... A drop of dish soap in a spray bottle of water. Spray the window and then when you lay your decal on it it's going to slip and slide a little bit so you can position it easily. Use your squeegee as usual and paper towel to mop up the water as you go and bingo bango, you've got a straight sign. 😉

Make a few vinyls that have kiss marks so when you put them up, it’s your business hours and then put kiss marks around(like the lip gloss/stick)

I know it's easy a little x mark in the middle of two measurements on the door. You just find the middle and the metric system is your best friend.
Why didn’t you just cut one Y that was missing instead of making an entire new one and throwing out the whole sheet 🥴
