Krita's Text Tool SUCKS 👎🏼 Use Photoshop Instead !!!

Yes unfortunately Krita's text tool does sucks compared to Photoshop's type tool but that's all good.
After creating my G.Freeman Comic Art / Digital Painting redesign in Krita,
I thought I would add a title and some other text to make it more of a poster for my wall.
After trying to figure out Krita's Text Tool functions and get some better text editing features I realized this wouldn't be happening in Krita at least as easily as in Photoshop.
Because I am used to Graphic Art editing in Photoshop I thought I will see if I can save it as a psd doc and send it to photoshop to add text and help make my Artwork Pop!
Seeing that Krita has an option to save my file as a Photoshop document I thought I would make a video showing how to save your Krita Art as a psd then open it in Photoshop and start altering your Text.
I really like both of these programs for different things which is what makes using multiple software great!
Each have things that the other doesn't and I will continue to use them both but as far as Krita's Text Tool maybe for the very basics but that's it.
It's very clunky, not very user friendly or editable in a refined and smooth way like Photoshop's Type Tool functions and properties are.
My recommendation to any Artist who wants to add Text or do any form of editing for their final art piece is; use Photoshop for this!
It will save you huge amounts of time and it works very well to add drop shadows, strokes, glows and filter effects.
Time is an essence when creating your work, especially when it's for a client so utilizing each program for their best specific traits will better help you get finished professional artwork done in a proficient and effective manner.

I made this video because I noticed there were a lot of faults within Krita that needed to be addressed.
Everything about a program isn't always great, even though Krita has the best Digital Painting brushes there are always some Pros and Cons to any creative software.
I ❤ using both Photoshop and Krita together because then you can make some Amazing pieces of Digital Art that still has that drawing on paper feel and quality but POPs with Detail and Effects for a finished product that is just 💥👌🏼
I am not one of those Art channels that will just remain biased to one over the other or steer you in some bs direction based solely off my opinions. Ultimately all that matters is what works for you but I hope that regardless I can share with you some Tips-n-Tricks to make your Visual creations that much easier for yah.
