Still own a 91 dt125r, the best of the 125 trail bikes, there's still a few around and a far better investment a more fun than any Chinese tat

Your right staying in the ruts I tried riding my Africa Twin on top and went down hard it flipping hurt 😥 I had a 250 cc Pulse Adrenaline made 18.5bhp having sold it 18 months ago I now miss it this 14bhp option might be a good replacement?

gearing can be tricky. my fz6n don't really change much ither in the gears att lower speeds. like i can go 40km/h in 4th 5th and 6th and there is not really much difference.

I owned an smr for nearly 3 months now & only put 100 miles on it, however I have recently noticed early stages of corrosion on the rear wheel & spokes, I spoke to the garage I bought the bike from & they said it wasn't covered under the warranty even though I explained that I only use the bike when the weather is good it's always covered when not in use & I wash it after every ride, I paid nearly £3400 with OTR costs so I'm really disappointed with the after sales care, I definitely would not recommend buying off Sinnis after this experience.

Have you contacted Sinnis? Not just the dealer?

    • @mattstorey78
      @mattstorey78 ปีที่แล้ว

@spicy110 I sent an email to sinnis but I'm awaiting a reply

Call them, one of the weak points for these bikes are dealers not doing what they should. It's true for many of the Chinese brands and it's something I have pushed a couple of them to improve over the years.

@spicy110 I got a reply from Andrew Brown at sinnis, I have sent pictures of the wheel & now i wait I guess.

@spicy110 I contacted Sinnis directly today & they have agreed to replace the wheel under warranty, it's still a pain because I shouldn't of had to make all the necessary arrangements on behalf of the dealer, think this has put me off buying another import.
Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

Have you considered a mesh jacket?
I bought one, years ago, still use it.
It's got shoulder elbow and back armour, all can be upgraded.
Has removable waterproof and thermal liners.
Check out Black Tab motorbike clothing, based in Barry.
    Cheers, Grumps

Yes, I talked about it in this video.

@@spicy110 I thought you were talking about just body armour suits, mx type, not full jackets.
      My mistake

Ohhh you are not talking about what I thought. Not really no as if I am going to ware something for the heat off road I want that to be the coolest possible option.

@@spicy110 my jacket is basically a normal bike jacket, with armour, but made of mesh material, so it's extremely well ventilated 🙂

Unfortunately most look like gimp suits and make you look rather ridiculous... right up there with the high vis wankers I think
