AN AFTERNOON AT TANFIELD RAILWAY

A great family day out at Tanfield Railway in the North East of England. This is fantastic place. Experience a steam train ride, riding in the carriages along the oldest single railway line in the world.
Visit Causey Arch along the way, It is the oldest surviving single-arch railway bridge in the world.
Visit the worlds oldest working engine shed and see the volunteers working on these impressive locomotives.
