    Lovely journals, right from the beginning of the "journey" describing the albums. The eye can't get enough of seeing the combination of colors characteristic of Christmas, and especially the beauty of the design that radiates simplicity and a lot of love. In the first journal, there is a picture depicting children singing in church and the art of windows made of colored glass. Which reminds me of a spectacular visit to the Gospel Church in Nazareth. In this church, the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would give birth to the Son of God.
    Therefore....this journal is my favorite.

    Amazing journals. I love the personal photos, tiny Christmas cards, handwritten recipies, book pages, handmade tags and much much more. If my Christmas journal turns out even half as brilliant as your ones I will be more than happy ❤

    Meg, I have a question. When you have vintage books that you plan to cut up and use as ephemera or pages, do you go ahead and tear everything out and sort it into themes, or do you keep them intact and then browse through your books whenever you start a new journal? Thanks

    • @ChasingRetro
      @ChasingRetro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Teresa! The answer is both. :) If I plan on using a cover but not all its pages, I sort out pages that may go with an upcoming theme and file them in folders. The rest go into a box of general book pages that I I pull for other journals or eclectic journals. When I “source” for a new journal, I also go through my book shelves of intact books and pull out pages that are relevant. If I see a page or two that’ll fit a theme I’m doing later, I usually go ahead and pull those, too (and file them.) Does this answer your question okay?

      Yes, thank you! I've collected a few books, and they are taking up a lot of storage space. I think a project of sorting the pages is in order!@@ChasingRetro
