Service members gave their lives to protect free speech, among the other freedoms we enjoy. Punishing speech is something that non-free countries do. Many service members disagree with what these protestors say, but they risk their lives defending their right to say it. You asked what other countries would even allow protestors? Do you live in an authoritarian regime? Many countries allow open expression of divergent political views.
All these people chanting to save Palestine couldn’t have found it on a map a year ago not to mention half of Palestinians are HAMAS! Why do they not demand Hamas release the hostages or condemn the actions that were taken against Israel and stand up against hamas!? That is if they really care about Palestinian lives.
