Im really surprised that France voted for him. The anti gay harassment is expected, but they seem to have voted for what he has to offer, regardless of it.

In France you dont vote for the prime ministre. The role of the prime ministre in the 5th republic is basiclly to go to the national assembly and try to pass the law of the president. President who is the real ruler and is elected to the universal suffrage every 4 years. Yeah so basiclly the french didn't choose him most of us hate him and describe him as the good guarddog of the president.
