I just have to tell someone.. We have 4 wonderful grandsons and my daughter just told me she's having our first granddaughter!!! When I saw the pink lamb 🐑 vase, I had to say something. I'm not aloud to tell friends and family yet, so I'm telling you!
The Mexican bowl is a "Wow" piece! Anytime an object or a photo has you making up stories about it it is worth more. Great party piece. You could pass it around and everyone has to make up a story about it's surface design.
You know Jocelyn, Your hair may be cute, and your boyfriend, and kids, cute as well... But additionally, and maybe more importantly, you have the most knowledge on all the items you buy, as anyone else I follow on TH-cam. Truly. Thank you for educating me.
Jocelyn, I just recently found your video's and am enjoying them very much. You sure have a unique way to show your finds and it makes your video's even more interesting to watch..
I use peanut butter to get the sticky stuff of everything. Just rub it on with cloth . Works great and no chemicals involved. In fact I just used it on a antique wood piece that had duct tape residue.
I am so excited, I just came back from being in Pigeon Forge, TN. I went to a couple of antique store. I finally saw my first crackle glass, art glass and copper luster. I knew what these pieces were because I watch your videos.
We have a holiday home near the city of Limoges, it’s a beautiful city to visit! The brocantes (thrift/antique) shops are amazing, it’s really big in France! In the summer some of the villages have bric a brac sales and food, a band and are on all day! Prices are so cheap it’s unreal!
FYI: Information from Kovels about Relpo: "Relpo, short for the Reliable Glassware & Pottery Co., was the sales division of Samson Import Co., a Chicago importer. Samson was founded by Samuel Krivit in 1933 and Relpo was started by his son, Jerome. The Krivits, like other American importers, bought ceramics from Japan, including lady head vases and figurine planters." I would guess they bought pottery and glass from many countries.
That paper weight is a replica of the original USPS Surface Visibility Scanner that they use to scan pallet placards, packages and trucks. I have a couple of them, got them when I worked in the Enterprise Analytics group. I hope that provides you with the history of that.
Ive recently started watching your videos, but im obsessed. I love how you explain everything and your knowledge of antiques is so hot, lol. Ive always wanted to do what you do, it's so amazing. Thank you for everything.
Yes, Roseville Pottery was always more about art pottery and RRPCo: Robinson-Ransbottom Pottery Co made utilitarian pottery. Their pieces are nothing alike. The confusion comes when newbies see Roseville, OH on the bottom of RRPCo pieces. There were a number of pottery manufacturers in and around Roseville, OH all operating at the same time. Thanks for clarifying that for people starting out.
Looks like you are enjoying getting out as you did previously. However, you did an amazing job creating interesting content while you were limited as well!
Started to watch was excited to see the Lennox then decided I could come back and watch later since you weren't going to show it. I'll go do what I planned on doing and come back and watch you later. CHRISTMAS is sure a longgggggg time away😥😥😉😉. Have a great day.
Hi! I have watched tons of your videos I love Them! Great job! I just started my journey of thrifting and re-selling. I'm loving it so far. Keep up the great work.
I just finished Jocelyn's class onpottery, glassx and purses, 101! I hope I pass the quiz later! You are such a trip and in a good way, thank you for sharing.
Porsgrund is a community in Norway, best known or its pottery, founded in 1885. It is on th coast in Northern Norway in the Telemark area, which is why the bottle opener's carving is of a fisherman, no doubt
Betsey Johnson has been around since the late 1960's early 1970' s. She designed for Alvin Dunskin, and Paraphelnia,. We used to have a Betsey Johnson boutique on 5 the Avenue here in Seattle. Her dresses, and purse's were expensive, in the hundreds. I am not up with what second hand goes for? Fun video! Amazing finds!
Jocelyn as always, love your video's, very informative. You are such a great speaker, and teacher, thank you for sharing. Hugs to you and the fam, best wishes.
I use WD-40 to remove stickers from basically anything.. takes the residue off pretty fast. Stickers stuck on furniture..windows.. glass ..spray a small amount and wipe it away 🙂
I looked everywhere for the "fishy dishy" set and couldn't find anything about them, but there is a 4.5 star restaurant called Fishy Dishy. Its located in Carlingford. Ireland.
Linda Carlson - Yep! I’m in the suburbs of NYC (about 30 miles from midtown) & the Goodwills here are in economically depressed areas. The prices are so insane; $9.99 for something that deserves to be in landfill as much as I hate doing that! Plastic junk starts @ $9.99. Ours have so many class action suits going because of their hiring practices, as well as where the $ actually goes- not even 10% is going to community programs. Each one is run differently, so you need to find the HQ for your area to make complaints as direct complaints do nothing. It’s really sad as they don’t give an eff about the environment😢 it’s all about greed😡! XXX J. 😘🧡😻😻
Linda Carlson I travel for work and buy items up north and resell in the south it’s awesome how their stuff is lower priced but super high down here and vice versa. It makes it nice to buy and bring back. It’s so funny because I’m jealous of The finds on the youtubers the recycled life in Portland!
The guatemala bowl has the mexican traditions painted on it. Like the wedding celebration, la torreada (the bull fighting) and the pole climbing. It looks modern.
Betsy Johnson does have a nice style! I still love the Sourpuss purse that I got from you and you picked it up in the bins! I get lots of positive comments.
Fantastic pieces in this haul! You’ll do well. I am happy with your voice overs on the shopping videos so if you decide not to do hauls, I’m good with that!
The Mexico bowl is just a representation of traditional things. There’s a totem pole and the girl is just holding the brides train. All those scenes don’t necessarily happen in a wedding. Unless, it’s a type of wedding party that goes on for days, which sometimes happens in smaller communities.
The only thing I collect is RRO blue spongeware. It started with a massive mixing bowl I thrifted for a few bucks. Everything else must be sold because there aren't enough boxes in the world :)
For tape residue hot or very warm water in dishpan or sink in 1 cup vinegar & blue dawn capful, soak over night or several hours most comes off with no problem.. may have to redo.. works for me
I really think what you have IS a green Empoli piece Joce, but someone has put a Made in Mexico sticker on it from some other object. I've never seen a piece of glass like that come out of Mexico. Even the stuff they made in the 1980's for Pier 1 was not like that, or as good. I think if you are in doubt have someone who really knows Empoli look at it. I'll just about bet you it's the label that is wrong. It would be really interesting to see other example's of this type of Mexican made glass, if there is any?! I couldn't find a single piece of it, tho I searched. This was a fun haul video, full of so many delightful goodies. I'm happy you are doing so well you don't have much time for haul video's. It's a good sign your business is booming. Don't work too hard tho, and be sure to give yourself a rest now and again. Have a great day!
Hi Jocelyn, if you can submerge the item for five to ten minutes in hot soapy water the tape will fall right off. Helps when there is gold or silver accents too. Still riding the struggle bus with stickers on cardboard over here but the soaking really helps!
We have some art work form the same artist. My Grandparents went to Mexico. He had moderate success in Mexico. The artwork goes up and down in value. The pole is a ritual. Lol. They have a lot of ritual type stuff they do in Mexico and in Central America. I can't remember the artists name but if it's the same one I'm thinking of he's also famous for painting on a type of tree bark. We have a painting he did on wooden cross its beautiful. They brought back quiet a few paintings this man did! Good luck!
Somebody else said this - I like your haircut and highlights, too. Also, you mentioned getting the sticker off with hot water. Have you ever used "goo-gone" or almond oil/coconut oil to remove residue? I use it all the time. Then i wipe it off with an alcohol pad (nurse, i always have them in my pocket)
I bought a new (unused) Betsy Johnson bag for $1 at Nova Thrift Store. Had retail tag in it for $99. Plus it is strawberries- my friends thing. Score!!
The books you referenced that you had when younger, were they maybe The Busy World of Richard Scarry? If so, I loved those! They really got my imagination buzzing.
Can't wait to come to your shop when it opens later this year. I live about two hours north of you and my son lives in Harrisburg. I love shopping at the Lemoyne Marketplace. I need to check out Finders Keepers. Love your channel; I have learned so much.
You can remove coffee stains in mugs or coffee pots with ice. Get crushed ice like they have at Sonic and swish it around in the mug or glass or pottery
The scene on the bowl is a traditional tradition where the single women and men hold hands and run under the veil. Which is called "La Vibora De La Mar". I think that's it depicting in the painting
Love your hair cut bangs are cute on you. Yesterday I was thrifting with a friend picked up a vase put it down went back got it little later it was Murano-Styled Art Glass Vase Calla Lily Jack in The Pulpit Vase I paid 3.50 for it and selling with this description on etsy for 48.00. The one for sale is green and blue the one I bought is orange and blue.
I wonder if that pine cone duck is paper-mache underneath? We had a plastic duck and a paper-mache duck many years ago, both were used by my uncle as duck decoys for duck hunting.
The carved wooden bottle opener is Porsgrund from Norway. They are mostly known for their porcelain. The company started in 1885. Very interesting piece you have there. P.S. I am Norwegian and have a lot of Porsgrund work! Edited to add that I have never seen woodwork from this company. You may have something special. You should email a photo to the company and ask!!! Please give an update!😃
YOU WERE RIGHT! - Hi, Jos: I think that Mexico sticker on the glass bowl vase was erroneous! The Empoli glass is made in Empoli, Italy. The green is called "Empoli Verdi," appropriately enough. I think that Mexico sticker is erroneous, though! - Could have come off something else and been brushed off onto the bowl. I say that because I've never seen diamond optic from Mexico. - Also, its very unusual to see a "made in ___" sticker just slapped on the side like that. Especially a small pink one like that. Their art pieces are usually tagged in white stickers. - That tag just looked all wrong. - I'd trust your instincts. - Or maybe list it as an a diamond optic bowl vase in the style of Empoli Verdi? Also, thank you!!! - You've been awesome about the values on the haul vids! - You are appreciated!!!
Some people buy things and keep the boxes then when done (or pass away and family) will put items back in boxes to get rid of the of items. I have all my figurine boxes for the very reason. Don't assume those are NIB.
I just have to tell someone.. We have 4 wonderful grandsons and my daughter just told me she's having our first granddaughter!!! When I saw the pink lamb 🐑 vase, I had to say something. I'm not aloud to tell friends and family yet, so I'm telling you!
Congratulations 💐
Woooooohooooooo congratulations ---- I have a grandaughter (the only 1 , rest all boys in the family) , and a grandson
Lisa Grafton how exciting! Congrats to all!
Congratulations 👸👸
Congratulations 💙❤
The Mexican bowl is a "Wow" piece! Anytime an object or a photo has you making up stories about it it is worth more. Great party piece. You could pass it around and everyone has to make up a story about it's surface design.
You know Jocelyn,
Your hair may be cute, and your boyfriend, and kids, cute as well...
But additionally, and maybe more importantly, you have the most knowledge on all the items you buy, as anyone else I follow on TH-cam.
Truly. Thank you for educating me.
Agree completely!
Agreed also.
Jocelyn, I just recently found your video's and am enjoying them very much. You sure have a unique way to show your finds and it makes your video's even more interesting to watch..
I love how you are totally up front about your wins and your losses . Keep doing what you do , Honey.
I use peanut butter to get the sticky stuff of everything. Just rub it on with cloth . Works great and no chemicals involved. In fact I just used it on a antique wood piece that had duct tape residue.
Smart!!!
Hair is really cute but you're always adorable! Glad I watched your live & like your attitude about super chats. Your channel is 1 of my faves😘
I am so excited, I just came back from being in Pigeon Forge, TN. I went to a couple of antique store. I finally saw my first crackle glass, art glass and copper luster. I knew what these pieces were because I watch your videos.
Joy Furnish Hope you had a good time in my area.
@@poppyll8426 I love Pigeon Forge, one of my favorite places to visit.
Hi Jocelyn, I loved your description of all the scenarios depicted on that colorful bowl and I got a good laugh about it! Lol! Pat
That’s sounds amazing!
That sounds like such fun😁
The bottle opener is Porsgrund. It’s the name of a place in Norway. The porcelain factory has been there since 1885
I enjoy your shopping videos the most! Of all the thrifting videos on YT yours are my absolute favourite!!!
On the bowel the man climbing the pole is a Christmas game to get the treats on top. A tradition.

Hi
I always hit the👍 before i watch becaurse i know it's gonna be good.
Have a lovely weekend
If you all watch when she was at the Goodwill, she opened the Lenox there. Yes, she knows what's in the boxes, and she showed it then!
I bet she is glad she looked at boxes that day, in another vid Jocelyn said she's not a fan of looking at boxes!!🙂
That paper weight is a replica of the original USPS Surface Visibility Scanner that they use to scan pallet placards, packages and trucks. I have a couple of them, got them when I worked in the Enterprise Analytics group. I hope that provides you with the history of that.
The hand carved And hand painted signed Nadeau painting was made in New Brunswick Canada. It was a small family owned business that made them.
Ive recently started watching your videos, but im obsessed. I love how you explain everything and your knowledge of antiques is so hot, lol. Ive always wanted to do what you do, it's so amazing. Thank you for everything.

Your hair is adorable ❤️ love the high lights and low lights looks like you got a layer cut too. I really like it!!
Started to watch was excited to see the Lennox then decided I could come back and watch later since you weren't going to show it. I'll go do what I planned on doing and come back and watch you later. CHRISTMAS is sure a longgggggg time away😥😥😉😉. Have a great day.
Those clear glass vases, you could wrap a pool noodle around it to ship!
Mexican bowl- During Christmas the go up a oiled pole. Whoever can get to the top wins the presents located up there.
Hi! I have watched tons of your videos
I love Them! Great job!
I just started my journey of thrifting and re-selling. I'm loving it so far. Keep up the great work.
LOVE your new hairstyle...really becomes you!! Your Goodwill prices are so much less than the ones in So Cal...never see anything under $5.99.
The video brought back memories of your doing hauls at your dining room table. Kind of miss those trains! Thanks.
Colander is more likely a berry bowl
I just finished Jocelyn's class onpottery, glassx and purses, 101! I hope I pass the quiz later! You are such a trip and in a good way, thank you for sharing.
Like the new hairdo, especially the highlights.
I was just thinking if the hair shops had opened up in Penn. Real pretty
I was just about to say the same thing! I love her hair like this!!!
Me too!
Absolutely, I noticed her hair right away. She looks great! Longer hair on her softens her face.
Loved " Ok fun sponge" will be using that at home.
Porsgrund is a community in Norway, best known or its pottery, founded in 1885. It is on th coast in Northern Norway in the Telemark area, which is why the bottle opener's carving is of a fisherman, no doubt
The wooden fisherman bottle opened may say "Porsgrund", for Porsgrund, Norway.

Roberto Concepcion Rios possible artist of the wedding bowl. Love the hair!!
That heavy paperweight looks like the shape of a credit card receiver. The end is thicker, and is where the roll of paper goes.
I use WD-40 to remove stickers from basically anything.. takes the residue off pretty fast. Stickers stuck on furniture..windows.. glass ..spray a small amount and wipe it away 🙂
Ooh, thanks, I try to recycle as much as I can and what a time I have with sticky labels, even Goo Gone doesn't save much effort.
I looked everywhere for the "fishy dishy" set and couldn't find anything about them, but there is a 4.5 star restaurant called Fishy Dishy. Its located in Carlingford. Ireland.
Love the hair. Everyone has a style that works, that's definitely yours.
I love Lenox it’s made in the USA! Put that in your description, I always look for made in the US items... also you hair is gorgeous today!
The prices in Pennsylvania must be vastly different. Some of the items you buy for 2.99 would be $6.99 to $19.99 and I am in Portland Oregon.
Linda Carlson - Yep! I’m in the suburbs of NYC (about 30 miles from midtown) & the Goodwills here are in economically depressed areas. I'm in pa and I found 2 American girl bitty baby for 1.99. Usually the stores have no idea what they have
I'm in oregon too goodwill prices are way higher here than most states.
Yeah, they're higher in Madison, WI too.
I never used to like the clear glass but lately I do, it has an elegance to it depending on the piece of course.
Mexican Wedding bowl. I collect Mexican wedding plates, I've never seen a bowl! So cool.
Yes! I have one! I was looking to see if anyone else knew!
Porsgund is a Norwegian company. florists sold the lamb planters with greenery sometimes in hospital gift shops
Love Betsy Johnson!!!
I'm sending Drew a box of cat haiir! Muahahahahahah! lol
What do the Lenox pieces LOOK Ike? Are they all vases? I only glanced at the picture on one box, so I didn’t know what they looked like for sure!
Yes I’m sad we didn’t get to see them too but I assume since they are factory packaged she doesn’t want to unpack.
Jocelyn: I'm a sucker for a student pottery
Me: I'm a sucker for watching your videos
The "phone paperweight" is actually a replica scanner that the USPS or UPS uses to scan the packages. (I work for USPS)
I saw that when she bought it at goodwill. I could not remember what company thank you now I don't feel stupid .
I've found Betsey Johnson at the bins in a little rough shape. I did the best I could and it sold for $60.00. don't count yourself short!
That bowl just paid for your haul, good job! 👍👊
Love the new do and hair color! So cute!
Your hair is awesome. Best I've seen On you!!
Fantastic pieces in this haul! You’ll do well. I am happy with your voice overs on the shopping videos so if you decide not to do hauls, I’m good with that!
Love the haul videos, but still miss the TRAIN noise at your house. Ha! 👍🏻
RLOL!!! Throwing the flowers!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You look fab. I binge your videos. I'm 73 and adore you and Drew and kidlets.
The Mexico bowl is just a representation of traditional things. There’s a totem pole and the girl is just holding the brides train. All those scenes don’t necessarily happen in a wedding. Unless, it’s a type of wedding party that goes on for days, which sometimes happens in smaller communities.
Mexican bowl is fantastic!
Ha ha. I was sending you vibes, "Hey, you forgot to tell about your shirts!"
The only thing I collect is RRO blue spongeware. It started with a massive mixing bowl I thrifted for a few bucks. Everything else must be sold because there aren't enough boxes in the world :)
Porsgrund is a porcelain factory in Norway. Can't imagine why there'd be a carved wood souvenier but there we are.
For tape residue hot or very warm water in dishpan or sink in 1 cup vinegar & blue dawn capful, soak over night or several hours most comes off with no problem.. may have to redo.. works for me
I love Lenox. Can’t wait for you to list it.

I couldn't find a single piece of it, tho I searched.

Lesa Hanners I collect Empoli too. I really think it’s Empoli. Someone put on a random sticker I think.
Loved this haul video!! Looking forward to more!!
Jocelyn, when will you list the Dominica Pena Encantada bowl?
Like the two tall clear glass vases a lot. Nice! 🦘🦘
Information and inspiration are your game! Thank you! Blessed and safe days!
Hi Jocelyn, if you can submerge the item for five to ten minutes in hot soapy water the tape will fall right off. Helps when there is gold or silver accents too. Still riding the struggle bus with stickers on cardboard over here but the soaking really helps!
Love the plate from Bavaria! Your hair is awesome!
Love your haircolor and the style, looks awesome suits you!
We have some art work form the same artist. My Grandparents went to Mexico. He had moderate success in Mexico. The artwork goes up and down in value. The pole is a ritual. Lol. First and foremost -- your hair looks amazing! Now on to the haul...........
I LOVE the wedding bowl! 🇨🇦
Somebody else said this - I like your haircut and highlights, too. Also, you mentioned getting the sticker off with hot water.
I worked at a paint your own pottery studio. The fishy dishy pieces are basic pieces we sell off the self that someone painted like that
You can remove coffee stains in mugs or coffee pots with ice. Get crushed ice like they have at Sonic and swish it around in the mug or glass or pottery
Sorry didn’t finish. Swish the ice around in the pot or mug. The stains will come out. If stains are really bad my take a few times.
The scene on the bowl is a traditional tradition where the single women and men hold hands and run under the veil. Which is called "La Vibora De La Mar". I think that's it depicting in the painting
Thank-you for explaining!
Love your videos so glad I found you they have become a welcome relief from lock down in UK
I liked this haul because I saw you shop and pick the pieces yourself. Thanks.
you read my mind lol , when i saw that bowl i thought wheres wally which is our wheres waldo . its fab x
I wonder if that pine cone duck is paper-mache underneath? We had a plastic duck and a paper-mache duck many years ago, both were used by my uncle as duck decoys for duck hunting.
I want the Mexican bowl. Have you listed it yet? It's beautiful.

I think it’s a remote paperweight- very cool!
Enjoyed the haul, but most of all I love your hair. That's the icing on the cake 🎂
Love the super chat attitude.

I just ordered my shirt. It looks so cute, I can't wait to wear it. ❤
Some people buy things and keep the boxes then when done (or pass away and family) will put items back in boxes to get rid of the of items. I have all my figurine boxes for the very reason. Don't assume those are NIB.
Love love love your new do! You're shinning like new money! 😘
