Jody Namor Marvels first mutant and their underwater Superman only a anti-hero. He was before the X-men or Apocalypse. Marvel dis not want to copy Superman so they made their own underwater one who can fly. Like Superman he has a weakness. If he stays out the water too long he gets weaker. Underwater is at Superman level strength.
I was floored when they keep his wings in the first trailer and to see them being used now OMG Namor was always kind of a hard ass I hope they capture that part of his personality he a bit ruthless

As an African I love to see when we as black men just appreciate strong black women. A lot of the "recast" energy is largely sexist. Its distasteful to expect a cast and a director who wanted to quit because of the pain of this loss to just PRETEND. This movie is Black Panther (honoring the Panther Godess Bast who has been there for generations) I don't care what the largely male-driven narrative of the comics is because women have taken the MANTLE before. So lets just all support and show love especially as black people stop the BS.

What they’ve shown is only within the first hour of the movie. That last line by their mother is her speaking to Suri from the ancestral plane, because she’s going to get smoked by Namor and Dr. Doom is the instigator.
I think it would be VERY good storytelling to have T'Challa's death be the reason Shuri has to step up and mature into something more responsible. I do think she's a fun character but right now, she needs to be on top of her game and show some growth not only as a superhero, but also as a person, and I think it would be very good for Marvel if they used T'Challa's passing as the reason for that growth step but they need to execute it well.

Shuri don’t need to be King of Wakanda, she as Black Panther can be it’s protector, someone else can be King. The roles are separate. That’s why Tchalla was not King as the Black Panther at first.

I feel we all wish Chad was still here. We all loved him as Tchalla and honestly me for several other roles he played as historical figures of our culture. Those involved making this film knew him on a personal level. This was the best way to honor him and it makes this the best Black Panther movie for the “MULTIVERSE SAGA” Fiege said last week that and I’m quoting “It WAS too early to recast Tchalla” Shuri will be amazing if they make him BP in this. The movie looks amazing and in all honestly I hope they let Coogler direct secret wars because that’s when you bring Tchalla back

The plot could be something as simple as a third party involved who had him and Wakanda fight each other initially and after realizing what was going down they teamed up to destroy/fight against this third party, could be Dr. Doom from the comics.
She has killer monger stripes at the bottom her brothers colors are in the middle and she added her on touch to the rest of the suit that is why it is bright and glowing
The thing about Shuri is that she isn’t seen as an authoritative figure…she is a leader though because that was MBakus biggest gripe in the first movie…she is the one that makes all the decisions regarding the resources and the technology. Some will say she lacks physical strength BUT what is strength when you are vastly intelligent. If Ryan is the genius that I think he is…he will have her MacGyver these heauxs…that would be believable
