Thanks for this video. Is side bust dart not necessary? I'm saying this because the front length is normally longer than the back.
On your pattern front equal to back length. Is that always the case?

I made the front dartless. For a free outfit like shirt dress, minimal shaping is required, so I didn't need darts to take out excesses.
