Im gonna have my first cigar new years eve...2024 is my first year to make $100k...to alot of people on here it probably doesn't sound like alot but i was raised in the streets and never thought someone like me would ever come close to that... its a great accomplishment for me and my family
I LOVE the frequent content. You guys make it not boring while educational, as a result I have tried some new blends to me and ordered from Holt's. Keep up the good work, if i'm ever in Philly I'll swing by Holt's in person.
I smoked this cigar for the first time when I was in Berlin last fall during a trip (Cigar Club Berlin). I paired it with a Balvenie 14 years old Carribean Cask. A great pairing ;)
Love this format of video with you two sat in the chairs chatting. You’ve really hit on a great format. Excellent production as well. My favourite cigar videos on TH-cam. Wish we had something as good as this in the UK as some of the cigars you review are hard to get over here.
When you google places to buy cigars a bunch of websites pop up with great competitive pricing. I want maz and fach to know that I decided to buy from holts (even though other sites were cheaper!) simply because I’m a fan of their effort and their videos. You guys do great work and are an asset to the company.
We at Holyshmokeslounge love EVERYTHING Plasencia and you guys do a great job! The Sixto is the cigar for the guy who likes a lighter cigar, it’s mild smooth delicious smoke!
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the quality content! You two know your stuff and really show the best that the cigar enthusiasts have to offer! I live in PA about an hour and half away from philly planning a trip soon to make it out to one of the shops! Can’t wait to see the selection! Thank you for all the great options to choose from! Keep up the great work!
I will have to try the Natural; been a big fan of the Alma del Fuego for the past year or so. Love the spice and pepper in that blend from the Ometepe grown leaves.
Superb video gents. I've yet to get my hands on any of the Plasencia line, but I watched with y'all while having an Oliva Serie G Maduro while drinking on a Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA. Apparently ChatGPT knows how to come up with pairing recommendations. Who knew? Lmao.
I’ve found myself having a big Appreciation for box pressed formats They just feel better and are easier to bite down on, which is useful when I’m working My new favorite everyday smoke has become the New World Camaroon for its flavor, shape and price
I have acidentally discovered Plasencia (with a Reserva Original)and I loved it. I've just got a Alma Fuerte and a 149. They are safe in the humidor can't wait to enjoy them. i hope I will enjoy them as much as the first one
Again, you have amazed me. I thought that I might be smoking way too much because I wasn’t getting the flavor notes that I once had. I backed off to one a day now. To hear you say that nothing is pronounced on a cigar and then all of a sudden bam there it islet me know. I’m still on the right track. I’ve had a couple Placencia cigars and really they weren’t for me. Tonight I’m doing upper Domo 12 year in a Connecticut shade rapper, sipping black coffee, looking at a beautiful moonlight sky, letting the weeks stress flow with every exhale from my body.
When it comes to aging cigars I have a simple approach. Everything gets a month to reach my preferred humidity (I like my sticks a little drier than most stores keep them). Then I smoke them. If it’s a special cigar I’ll save them for special occasions, and they’ll age in the intervening years as I slowly burn through the box.
I've had this cigar aging in my humidor for the last 6 months. I was going to smoke it the other day but something told me to wait, now I know what it was I was waiting for. Can't wait to light this up tonight, I'm not much of a drinker so I'll be enjoying it with a nice cup of black coffee. As always thanks for the review guys 👍
Drink it with chocolate milk. I’m not a big drinker either. My saying is if a cigar doesn’t pairs well with chocolate milk then it is not a good cigar.
Ive never had the Fuji but it's on the list. I just picked up some Togouchi single malt from the Sakarou distillery. You guys should check it out, it's the new version, aged in a train tunnel in Hiroshima. Comes in the green/brown bottle, not the black one.

Maybe you should try George Dickel 17 year reserve. It was actually a mistake made by the Dick factory many years ago. They had a batch that got skipped over and they thought they had lost it but tried it and decided it was wonderful. I’m very fond of Tennessee whiskey though.
Do you guys have any videos about your "Holt's factory specials"? They look great in the pictures on your site and the 100 count box is a bargain, but I haven't seen any video reviews about someone smoking one.
What Japanese whisky would you recommend that you have tried? Ive had bad luck with a few ive tried and different price ranges. Something smooth and similar to a Macallan 12 year Cherry Oak, which you can never go wrong with that
I sometimes wonder if im missing anything by not springing for a $25 cigar like this one. Im very happy with my $5-7 sticks and just cant spend the $25 for a single stick.
If you're happy with $5-7 sticks, splurge for a $25 on your birthday, anniversary, New Years, etc. The Alma Fuerte, 1926, Black Diamond, ESG, and Late Hour are all solid options for those special occasions.
I would say more expensive cigars in the 15-25 $ price range with older aged tobacco definetely bring something regarding flavors. that being said there are lot of decent cheaper cigars, if you re happy with them. I have the same kind of dillema, so i smoke cheaper cigars on a regular basis and a few expensive ones once in a while. But there is for sure quite a difference in flavor.
For your pairing, why not try the best of both worlds? A high end irish coffee. Liquor + coffee + cigar how could you go wrong? Doesn't have to be 'neat' to be nice...
I just got into cigars and im left feeling confused and frustrated. Ive tried about 10 cigars and I can’t pickup any flavor notes. I even had the guy at the cigar shop spark one up for me to make sure im lighting it right. When I puff them I just get the taste of cigarettes and bitterness. I don’t think this hobby is for me
That cigar is Meh🫤 it has to go eventually.i pair it with WATER. I don't wanna be an a**hole but you guys smoke a lot and y'all know any 7 dollar stick from a few people is better than this cigar. Plasencia Good inventory, not cigar makers. The cheapest one the white label was blended well is the best.
@anthonymazzola4470 I enjoyed it too wouldn't buy it again. Taste is personal but is a kind of thing that the blend is good but If you sub one leaf it would fly off the shelf out of stock, you know what I'm saying.

Never had a bad Plasencia, construction is up there with Davidoff and Fuente, and the tobacco is always top drawer, and at reasonable prices. 🏆
I smoked this cigar for the first time when I was in Berlin last fall during a trip (Cigar Club Berlin). I paired it with a Balvenie 14 years old Carribean Cask. A great pairing ;)
While not the cheapest monthly sampler, I appreciate your content and am happy to pay the little big extra this channel!
We truly appreciate your support! The cigar community means the world to us
At 2:55 "many moons ago" - great quote Mazz! I say that all the time. First time I heard it from someone else.
I love these videos, I could watch them all day

Mazz you are the best online. Loaded with Knowledge. I’d love to talk to you!
Great review of the Plasencia lineup, I love their offerings! Out of their portfolio, what’s both of your favorite cigar?🔥
The hex is awesome, instead of a quarter turn I give it a 6th of a turn and it always burns great

I truly love this blend and company! Thank you for the vid and pairing! Definitely 💯 stuck on this stick!
Hoping it makes the cigar of the month club!
Love the cigar brand
I wanna the behind the scenes of the b roll lol, I had this cigar a couple months ago, and definitely enjoyed it.
Great review gentlemen!! One of my top three! Thanks so much!
As a new smoker this is one of my favorite, so far

My wife encourages me to smoke cigars. She believes it fights COVID since I never had it!
Nicotine has more medicinal properties than people realize. Everything in moderation though
I’ve found myself having a big Appreciation for box pressed formats
They just feel better and are easier to bite down on, which is useful when I’m working
My new favorite everyday smoke has become the New World Camaroon for its flavor, shape and price

Wishing the Holt's team a very merry Christmas 🎄

Nice! Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching Scott!
Drink it with chocolate milk. I’m not a big drinker either.
My saying is if a cigar doesn’t pairs well with chocolate milk then it is not a good cigar.
Went well with a Mexican coke, or real sugar pepsi.
@@12egaines Chocolate milk huh? That's a new one, I'll definitely be trying that, thanks for the recommendation.
@@ScottHeathJr make sure it’s cold. Let me know if you like it.
My wife is killing me for the whisky and cigar purchases after one of your videos - 😅
Just had this recently for the first time. Happy that I picked up similar tasting notes.
Good palate 😉
Nice pairing! Well done.
My favorite ever ! All sizes are amazing!
One of my favorite sticks! Especially in the sixto size. Smoking this on vacation feels like it’s increasing your net worth 😂
My go to smoke atleast every other week. Totally solid.
We done fellas. Thanks for ,
Blessing from Tionesta Pa .
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
What a great pairing. Good work paisan
These cigars are helping my hearing 😊

Love these videos Gents! Thank you
My favorite cigar this year, and the Japanese also make great gin
Id love to see these guys reviewing all the cuban brands aged 2 yrs minimum. Would be fantastic to watch
Wonderful vids, very informative and highly entertaining 👏
Bert and Ernie of premium cigar content! 😂
Keep up the great work. Hoping you guys review the AJ Fernandez 20th Anniversary Toro!!!
Terrific review!! 🔥👍

Need to try this stick
Another great video
Have this stick in my box. Been saving it!!
Might be time to fire it up!! 🔥🔥
On the side note, you should try and review a Kristoff cigar. GC signature or a Connecticut. Great recommendation from my go to store
Whenever u guys review stuff my bankaccount is screaming
sorry about that 😂
@@holtscigars Still loving it tho haha

Sixto II(i believe you call it Alma fuerte original)is one of my favorite cigars.....
Do you guys have any videos about your "Holt's factory specials"? They look great in the pictures on your site and the 100 count box is a bargain, but I haven't seen any video reviews about someone smoking one.
Great value cigar. We actually were almost fooled by it in one of our “Guess the Cigar” episodes
I’m excited to try the one I got!
A coca, vanilla cigar goes good with a dr.pepper cream soda 👌
Who is the blender? I’m liking to follow great blenders, like I love Ernesto Carrillo
Love the Sixto. I get 2+ hours. Great smoke.
Great Cigar

Try this Fugi we just enjoyed. To us it was very approachable & smooth.
Yessss the boys are back
Every Tuesday and Friday 😎
I’m curious. Are you doing this during the workday?
yes, we allocate time during the week to get these videos out for you guys 👍
@@holtscigars now that is a sweet gig right there
You're telling us 😂
Maz, love the channel, but it’s okay to take a breath once and a while brother lol
Did you hear Fach say he wasn’t feeling well & his voice was off IN the video?
We appreciate the input & the love.
Try that whiskey with Diesel Whiskey Row rabbit hole! Yummy 😊
Plasencia 🔥
Enjoy the weekend gentlemen!
You as well! Cheers

Sorry for the off subject question…
But what does the temperature setting in a humidor do? What’s is a good temperature to set it at
I sometimes wonder if im missing anything by not springing for a $25 cigar like this one. Im very happy with my $5-7 sticks and just cant spend the $25 for a single stick.

@@garyn1780 On the flip side, there are a few $8-9 sticks from Padron, Fuente, and Oliva that smoke better than some $18 I've tried from other brands.
Recently they were on sale for 154 dollars for 10. Great for that one special occasion every few months.
What is a good spirit to mach with Arturo fuentes??
How is that Fugi Whiskey? What brand of Whiskey?
Will you guys be going on Rumble anytime soon?
We don't plan on it
Could you guys do a video on the difference between The Cuban Trinidad and Dominican Trinidad.
I say once a month go for a $20+ cigar just to experience it.
SALU. 🥃
When is the next guess that cigar dropping?
Hexagon, not octogan
For your pairing, why not try the best of both worlds? A high end irish coffee.
Liquor + coffee + cigar how could you go wrong?
Doesn't have to be 'neat' to be nice...
@@johnsonmd1984 Great idea! Thank you for the comment
What’s difference between aging and not smoking right off the truck?
For me Fuerte with gold foot band is better, longer aged tobacco then green, bigger flavours
I love Placentia 151 Cosecka because you practice blowing a zero are 0.
good shit
Great hearing does help. You need to be able to hear the cigars and whiskeys when they are calling you name
Tis the season for egg nog pairing
Must be nice to drink high-end whisky and cigars!! 🎉😢🎉🎉
Tried it... not so nice compared to the Reserva series
Wifey just gifted me that exact whiskey! I just need placentia to deliver to Hawaii or Japan! Gdamn regulations messes with our freedom!!!
