    I know if you use pro elements in your templates, people with a free account will need to buy them.
    So my question is if you use features like transparent background, background remover, resize, will it have any effect if your customer is using a free account?

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I wanted the texture to be less pronounced so I lowered the opacity of the marble element down to 40%. This made it slightly transparent so I added a white element below to make it brighter and fill the gap. I hope this makes sense!

    You can use the photos and elements from canva within your design though and sell it? Correct?

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can definitely use the photos and elements but if it’s for commercial purposes, I’d definitely check the source. If it’s an element/photo from Canva itself, it’s absolutely fine to use it for non-commercial and commercial purposes. If it’s a different stock photo bank/creator (that’s still showing in the Canva library!), you need to check their individual licenses. To see who the creator is for the element, you can click on it to select it and choose the information icon (i) from the top panel.

    If we put/place our own pictures taken and downloaded by me (not from canva) ..and place them in the template.. if i sell or share the template, can the other party retrieve,use and see the picture?

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you use your own images which you uploaded yourself, they will be able to see them within the template. Remember that if you're using any Pro elements from the Canva library, any free users that download/purchase a template from you will need to either swap out the element or pay for it while exporting. Hope that makes sense!

    thank you for this tutorial. but can we sell these? does canva allow commercial use? I have created one template but i am afraid to sell it.

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can sell templates made in Canva provided that all the elements within your designs are allowed to be used commercially. If an element is created by Canva, then it's absolutely fine to use it in a template and sell it. If an element is coming from a Canva library but was created by someone other than Canva, you need to always check their individual license. You can do it by selecting an element, checking who the creator is and then going to their website for the details of the license. Of course, this is not legal advice so I would refer you to this document: www.canva.com/policies/canva-apps-terms/
      Plenty of people are selling Canva templates online and it's perfectly fine to do so, if in line with their policies 😊

      Hey Reshma! I would read the Terms of Use carefully to make sure you are covered and are the owner of your designs. Please check this document here: www.canva.com/policies/terms-of-use/

    Hi, when saving the template, I don’t have the 3 dots in the right corner next to the share button?

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's now all moved under the Share button in the top right corner. If you click on it, you'll see the three dots more option at the bottom of the pop up panel. Then, you'll be able to save as a template!

    Hi Natalia, I want to ask a question. Can i use Canva Pro elements in my design and sell it on Etsy ? If the buyer has free account, he can't edit or download the design , Right ? So should i use free elements only on my design ?!

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ahmed, yes, you’re absolutely right. When you sell a design containing pro elements, a free user won’t be able to download it or use it unless they pay for the element itself. For that reason, it’s a much better practice to use free elements only.

  • @EbonyLoveandMarriage
    @EbonyLoveandMarriage 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Let me get this straight. So you created each, individual template design as it's own page and saved it to the rose gold folder as a template? Or did you keep adding pages with each page being a new design and then save ALL of those designs on the multi-paged design as one template in a folder? I tried to do it design by design, and after I add the first design to an assigned folder and try to go back to add a new template to the folder, I get an error message and Canva won't allow me to add anything else to the folder.

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did it design by design because this way it’s easier to find things by keywords if you name your designs properly. You can do it both ways though. Not sure why you had an error as there should be no problems doing it one by one. I’d definitely reach out to Canva Support team on Twitter (quickest way to get a reply!) or through the support page because they’ll be able to see what’s causing the issue for you!

    When the customer receives the templates we prepared from canva, can they use all the images?
    So does the customer have problems with the pictures I use for paid premium membership?

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Eyyub, they can see all the images but if they are Pro elements and the clients are free users, then they will need to buy the element while downloading their design or swap out the premium content for the free one. Hope it helps!
